Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
Today the septic tank people come to pump our tank. We think that, since it rained a mega-ton over the weekend while we were constantly using the bathroom, part of our plumbing problems are from the leach field being saturated with water and inhibiting the outflow of our system, and that is why, even after we got the paper towels out, we still had a problem. (If you are just tuning in and you don’t know what the heck has been happening, you can read the story time section at the top of this post to catch up).
So, today we are having our septic tank pumped in the hopes that this alleviates the issue once and for all.
We are all feeling much better today and I have an appointment scheduled with the dentist to remove my broken tooth.
I hope you all are doing well!
Okay, let’s get into…the astrology
Today’s Transits
(All times are in Eastern Time unless mentioned otherwise)
The first bookend to the day is a square (90°) between the Moon in Pisces and Jupiter in Gemini early in the morning, at 6:46 am ET. This transit means that good things may come but they will take effort, struggle, strain, and/or action to manifest. A good attitude can help the process along but keep it real.
By mid-morning at 11:26 am the Pisces Moon will form a semisquare (45°) to Pluto in Aquarius retrograde so there is something painful that is going on behind the scenes or in the corners of your mind that you may be struggling with understanding or accepting. There’s nothing to do about it today except acknowledge that it is there. This could be anxiety about the state of the world and fears about your own resources and ability to respond to big changes. With the Moon in Pisces it is easy to get swept up in the emotions surrounding these topics, so do your best to stay grounded and calm.
About ten minutes later at 11:36 am the Moon in Pisces will make a quincunx (150°) to Venus in Leo. This transit symbolizes a change or separation from something we love, hold dear, or value in our lives. I can’t help but think of my daughter and this transit because her cousin left this morning and she is super sad. The Pisces Moon yearns for things and in this case, it may be a yearning toward something Venusian--a friendship, something beautiful, something sweet, something kind, or something valuable like money, jewels, or riches—Venus is in Leo, the sign of royalty.
In the afternoon at 1:52 pm ET, the Pisces Moon and the Sun in Leo create a sesquiquadrate (135°) relationship with each other which indicates something that has been taking shape, moving along, and making progress hitting a snag, a roadblock, or a traffic jam. This could be driven by our emotions because the Moon in Pisces is so fluid emotionally, feeling everything on a very deep level within themselves and picking up on all of the feelings of everyone around them, as well. It’s an extremely empathetic sign. If you are feeling the effects of the Pisces Moon energy and you don’t know where all the emotions are coming from, chances are they aren’t even yours. Sit back, allow the energy to move through you, and give it back to the Universe. The Universe knows exactly what to do with all that energy and you do not need to hang on to any of it. The Collective Unconscious is in a flurry of emotions right now and with the transits to Pluto and Pluto being at such a precarious degree of 00°50’ Aquarius and about to ingress back into Capricorn, finishing what he started in 2008, wrapping it up with a bow so to speak, there could be a lot of anxiety in the collective.
The last bookend to the day at 4:31 pm, will be the Pisces Moon perfecting her conjunction (00°) to Saturn in Pisces retrograde and this could be a very melancholic time. Things could feel extremely heavy as the Moon meets up with Saturn. The image of someone swimming in the ocean with a weight attached to their foot comes to mind and as the Moon meets up with Saturn it is like the weight getting so heavy that it pulls the person under the sea, all the way down to the bottom, where they have to face the reality that they don’t have gills—the only thing they can do is hope for a miracle. Moon/Saturn transits are challenging as Saturn requires responsibility and maturity in the face of sacrifice, suffering, and karma. The Moon in Pisces is always hopeful that by the grace of something divine, she will make it through. It could be a hard transit where you feel the weight of the world—but Pisces is a sign about compassion, hope, and spirituality, and Pisces connects with these things through art, music, meditation, dance, mantra, love, and acts of service. So, today, listen to some soothing music, paint a watercolor, go swimming, or dancing, take a walk in nature, meditate, write in a gratitude journal, give to those less fortunate than yourself, or give a gift to someone you love. These are all things that we can do to tap into this energy and help it move through us.
Hug a tree. Actually, I may do this last one…trees are old and wise and attached through their roots to the material plane (Saturn). By connecting with this wise energy, it may ground my own and remind me that I too, can weather the storms of life.
