Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
What a roller coaster the last week and a half has been! Let’s recap for a sec: we just had Mars and Uranus conjoin, which has been eventful, to say the least, that conjunction came after Venus made her entrance into Leo and opposed Pluto retrograde, bringing up deep truths in our relationships. Then the Moon went through her fall in Scorpio the last couple of days and opposed the Mars/Uranus/Algol conjunction making it personal (I don’t know about you, but my kids were certainly grabbed by that one and had a lot of quarrels yesterday! Thankfully, no accidents). The Moon also made trines to the Sun and Neptune connecting us to that energy which is building between them—the Sun will trine Neptune on July 21, 2024, the day of the SECOND FULL MOON in Capricorn! That will be wild. And here we are mid-week, tomorrow the Sun will sextile Uranus, and on Saturday, Mars will sextile Neptune in Pisces and then leave the stubborn sign of Taurus and enter Gemini on July 20, 2024. The sun entering Leo is right around the corner on Monday, July 22, 2024, marking what astrologers call, Leo Season, so things are rapidly changing and taking shape.
Oh, and if we weren’t having enough fun already, Mercury just entered his pre-retrograde shadow period last night when he hit 21°Leo 24’, which means he has started traveling through the area of the zodiac that he will retrograde back to in August 2024. Mercury will station retrograde on August 5, 2024. Oh my goodness, did you hear that? It sounded like maniacal laughter. You didn’t? Oh, well, must just be me then!
Okay, let’s get into…the astrology
Today’s Transits
(All times are in Eastern Time unless mentioned otherwise)
The Moon will be in the hopeful, optimistic, and adventurous sign of Sagittarius all day. This may feel like a relief if the last couple of days while the Moon was in Scorpio were dark, deep, and emotionally intense. Now we can expand our minds, hearts, and mental pathways to aim for higher, loftier things. Sagittarius Moon time is a naturally jovial time that always makes me feel more chipper, but I am a bit biased being a Sagittarius Sun myself.
In the morning at 11:07 am ET, the Moon in Sagittarius will form a harmonious trine to Venus in Leo representing loving feelings, flying off to romantic getaways or just having a great time. Moon trine Venus always brings love, affection, joy, and laughter. Thank goodness, we need it!!
In the afternoon at 1:20 pm the Sagittarius Moon will make a sesquiquadrate to Chiron in Aries indicating something we are working on healing or gaining wisdom about experiencing delays and fricition. This could be quietly frustrating.
At 3:44 pm the Moon in Sag will make harmonious aspects to the Nodes which means that today we may feel in alignment with the flow of events, even with the setbacks described by the previous transit. Things may just fall into place today with little effort.
In the evening at 5:33 pm ET, the Moon in Sagittarius will perfect a sesquiquaderate to the Sun in Cancer symbolizing delays to the mission—maybe you have started a project that you have to temporarily put on hold. It’s okay, you’ll get to it again soon.
Then at 7:20 pm the Sagittarius Moon will oppose Jupiter in Gemini and this can feel like a bit of bad luck and get your spirits down as you may not be able to go as big or as strong as you’d like because the expansive Jupiterian feelings are being pulled back by the details or the nitty-gritty mundane activities of life.
We may have to choose between some long-term goal and some short-term familial duty or maybe we have to decide what we are aiming at or for, and we have to collect more facts and data, or maybe we are oscillating between needing more information and feeling like we have enough to get going. Yet again, maybe there is a lot of activity going on and it is happy and jovial, but it is a lot of talking, conversations, sporadic, chaotic energy and we really just want to leave and go on a trip somewhere, either physically or mentally. Moon opposite Jupiter could be a lot worse, it is really not a terrible transit, but it could feel exhausting as the Sagittarius Moon wants to dream big and go on adventures and Jupiter wants to expand and collect more and more data and information while in Gemini. It just feels like being pulled in two great directions and having a hard time deciding what to do first.
