Good morning, friends!
So, today is a big day. People could be really emotional or trigger-happy today. The tension level is high!
By this afternoon (early evening ET) the Moon will be making an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. At the same time, Jupiter in Aries, stations —coming to a stop, before he goes retrograde tomorrow at 4:37 PM ET.
Pluto represents the regeneration process of death and rebirth. The Moon is in the balsamic phase, which is a time to let go of things. We could come to a place today in our circumstances where our survival is tested and we have to let go of something in order to move forward.
With Venus also in Cancer and the Moon being the dispositor of Venus, we have a deep pull to look at what we need to feel secure and comfortable. These things may come up very strongly today. To put it bluntly, people could be losing their shit. This could feel like a breaking point for many, because there’s so much to go through, emotionally. I hope that by being aware of these energies, you, my dear readers, are able to get through this day with patience, kindness, and grace. I’ll be crossing my fingers for all of us!
Mercury in Leo is still square to Mars in Taurus and is beginning to square Uranus, as well, so things are going to come up today that are newsworthy.
I glanced at the Breaking News this morning and several things popped out at me that fit these transits:
There was a 7.0 earthquake in the Philippines early this morning…
There are 84 large fires across the US…
St. Louis, MO, just had the largest rainfall since 1915, creating a historic flash flood…
The Megamillions jackpot is up to $1 Billion, after no winner on Tuesday…
And, former President Trump gave a speech yesterday at the America First Agenda Summit (very Mercury in Leo, square Mars in Taurus)…
Things are just getting started as we enter into the 3-degree orb of the big transit between Mars, Uranus, and the North Node (exact on August 1st). This is a major turning point.
The Moon will ingress into Leo early tomorrow morning and meet up with the Sun for the New Moon and then trine over to Jupiter. The Mercury square Uranus will perfect tomorrow. More about these transits tomorrow.
Despite all the craziness, there is still the possibility of beautiful gifts and doors opening all around us —keep your hearts open to receive them.
The card for the day is:
Ace of Cups
This card is all about love, self-love, pleasure, integrity, and open-heartedness.
“The Ace of Cups symbolizes emotional balance required to nurture, comfort, support, and heal oneself in equal proportion to how one would nurture, support, comfort, and heal others.” (The Tarot Handbook by Angeles Arrien, 1978)
I feel that this is a great card to pull for today because it is reminding us that with love we can get through anything. Love for others and love for ourselves. Remember to communicate your feelings with integrity, honesty, and trust.
I hope today’s horoscope and card reading are helpful!
Until tomorrow,
AstroMommy

Yes. Your reading is right on. I dropped my Nevada plan, but instead of feeling like I'm stopped and stagnant, I feel like I set aside something too weighty to carry right now, and will go on with a lighter load. When this has happened in the past, it has meant that an event in the future is going to require that I help someone else.
