Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.

Good morning, friends!

This is an intense week.  We could feel like the pressure is building and it could feel confusing like we woke up on a ship out in the middle of the ocean shrouded in fog.  It feels ominous.  There are some moments this week when the sun will peak through, allowing vision, insight, and moments of clarity, though.  I’ll try my best to help navigate this ship, but as they said in the movie Titanic, “Put your life belts on, Miss, it’s time to put your life belts on!”

Okay, let’s get into… the astrology

We have the Moon, now in Sagittarius, building toward her Third Quarter square and we have Mars about to square Neptune, both of which are perfecting tomorrow.

Then we have the Sun/Neptune conjunction that is getting really close, becoming exact on Wednesday.

After that, on Thursday, March 16th, we have Mercury conjoining Neptune and the Sun in Pisces and right after, the Sun and Mercury join Neptune in a square to Mars in Gemini.

Also on Thursday, Venus in Aries will square Pluto in Capricorn just a few hours before her ingress into her home sign of Taurus.

On Friday, the Sun and Mercury perfect their conjunction, and over the weekend, Mercury ingresses into Aries and makes a semisquare to Uranus in Taurus.

It’s a BIG week!

What does all this Astro-speak mean in layman’s terms?  It means shifts are coming and some may be dramatic.  They could be shifts in the world around you or they could be personal shifts, it just depends upon your natal chart and where these transits are taking place.

We are already seeing Pluto leaving Capricorn with a bang symbolized by the Silicon Valley Bank collapse, the biggest since 2008 when Pluto ingressed into Capricorn.  Coincidence, I think not.  Did you think Pluto would leave Capricorn, unnoticed?

I just saw in an article this morning about a big giant blob of seaweed, that is about 5,000 miles wide, approaching Florida and is already starting to wash up on the beaches.  This feels very Mars/Neptune to me—like a big scary sea monster about to emerge from the ocean and cause some destruction on the land—it just seems to embody the two archetypes.  The seaweed is even “red,” a color associated with Mars.  That this is happening during a Mars/Neptune square, the last of the cycle of three during Mars’s time in Gemini just seems very textbook to me!

So, there is a lot of tension building up today as we approach these transits and as we approach the Moon in Sagittarius’s Third Quarter square to the Sun in Pisces exact tomorrow.

The Moon ingressed into the sign of Sagittarius at 3:20 am early this morning and 13 minutes after her ingress, she squared Saturn in Pisces, who is currently at 0°Pisces 40’.

The square energy between the Moon and Saturn could color the day, bringing up serious feelings, especially ones that make you feel isolated, alone, or like an outsider.  It’s hard to shake the heavy feelings of a Moon/Saturn contact.  With the Sagittarius Moon energy here now, though, we could feel a bit more optimistic and inspired as the Moon gains distance from “buzz-kill” Saturn.  It’s a good day to pick ourselves up and do something that lightens our spirits.

Sagittarius likes to aim high, get a broader vision, and look on the bright side of things, so we can use this energy to look at the big picture and laugh more about our trials and tribulations.  Sometimes laughter really helps deal with the heavy, serious feelings that weigh us down like lead weights and it’s important to be able to laugh at ourselves and the irony of life at times.

This afternoon, Mercury in Pisces forms a sesquiquadrate and a semisquare to the South and North Nodes, respectively, causing some delays and setbacks to our plans.  It’s hard to plan for dealing with fog.  There’s not much you can do besides wait for it to clear so you can actually see more than three feet ahead of you. So, have patience with this one.

By tonight the Moon in Sagittarius makes a sesquiquadrate to Venus in Aries as they build towards their trine, which won’t perfect until early Wednesday morning.  This energy, again, brings feelings of delay.  Try to relax and not obsess about the setbacks.  Things seem a little unsettled right now, in regard to your desires, love life, and relationships, but they will get better soon.

Let’s move on to the card for the day:

What is the guidance for today?

23 Aquarius—I Known

The Aquarius card is all about thinking ahead toward the future.  Aquarius season is in the middle of winter when the days are short, cold, and dark.  This time of year is about taking stock of the resources you have and how you can make them stretch to last over the long bleak months.

The symbol for Aquarius is “the water-bearer” who makes sure that everyone gets their share of the precious resource.  Sometimes this includes innovative thinking and strategies, even inventing new things, so Aquarius is associated with new technologies, new ways of thinking, and new perspectives.  Often these new ideas set them apart from the herd and they are labeled as eccentric, unusual, unique, or the black sheep.  Aquarius doesn’t try to go against the status quo, they just can’t help themselves, when what they feel is the right thing to do, ruffles the feathers of the traditional, conservative, and dogmatic.

Sheep mugs are available in the family Etsy Shop. Click on the image above to browse our selection. All sheep mugs were designed by me, AstroMommy, born year of the sheep, but dedicated to freedom and individuality, like the Sagittarius I am! LOL!

As the guidance for today, I feel this card is coming up as a reminder that you may feel alone in your beliefs and convictions or feel like you are going against the grain.  Or maybe you feel alien and detached from the mundane world around you like you are watching a movie and not participating.

There could be surprises that disrupt the status quo or the plans for the future.  Whatever it is, know that the Aquarian energy is here to guide us into the future with a steady hand.  Structures may be crumbling, but Aquarius tells us that we can rebuild with the resources we have within.  Don’t follow the herd to the edge of the cliff.  Trust the bright star within yourself for guidance.  Deep inside, you “know” the truth.

Good call with Pluto and the bank collapse. I was thinking it might have to do with Mars bursting Neptune's bubble, but the Pluto in Cap connection is so compelling and spot on. Tis leaving Cap with a bang, indeed!
