Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
If you’ve been following along this week then you know that one of my kiddos has been down with a stomach bug and I haven’t been able to record the read-aloud for the daily horoscope. Thank you to those who reached out and sent her healing vibes! We appreciate it and she is doing better!
Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
The Moon made her ingress into Taurus early this morning at 3:28 am ET. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, which is a fixed earth sign, bringing stability, a hard work ethic, and a bit of stubbornness to the table. The symbol for Taurus is the Bull, a strong, beastly animal, but hard-working, steadfast, and committed. So it is time to slow down to a steady, consistent pace. After the Aries Moon energy where everyone wants things quickly and right now, the Taurean energy is a welcome change. It’s a fertile time and with the Sun in Pisces, it’s a time when the ground is getting saturated from the rain and waking up all the little seeds hiding within the soil.
The Moon in Taurus is forming a sextile to the Sun in Pisces this afternoon and so, there are opportunities for new life! Bulbs are starting to peek out of the earth, birds are singing springtime tunes in the morning, and the blossoms are beginning to bloom on the plum and cherry trees! All of these natural reminders of the life within being woken up are symbolic of our own reawakening! We too are being warmed by the sun, watered by the rain, and serenaded by the birds, “come out, come out, to play,” they say! I absolutely love this time of year!
By tonight the Moon will get closer and closer to conjoining Uranus in Taurus, which will be exact at 7:22 am ET tomorrow morning, but surprises may come today and tonight! Uranus always brings something sudden, unexpected, or surprising into our midst, and with the Moon, this could have to do with something emotional, physical, or circumstantial. It could also be an intuitive message that comes out of the blue or some sort of omen that has meaning.
Yesterday, while I was sitting outside with my kids in the almost 80° weather, we saw a herd of deer, about 7 or 8 deer, run across the open field across the street from our yard! I pointed the deer out to my toddler and she said, “It’s Santa’s reindeer!”
Deer is one of my totem animals and according to SpiritAnimal.info, represents “calm, inner peace, and a return to nature.” This surprise experience definitely caused some internal reflection, curiosity, and wonder for the natural world.
We were surprised by the deer but also by the weather! It was such a hot day! After about 20 minutes of hanging out outside, the weather shifted, the clouds in the distance became dark and we knew it was time to head in—it was like a summer storm was approaching, at the end of winter! We got inside and within an hour or so, the sky opened up and dumped bucketfuls of rain!
And it was warm, humid, summer rain. It was so odd but also familiar at the same time, just like the herd of deer running across the field—odd, yet familiar. Still not quite sure what to make of it, but it caught my attention.
Let’s move on to the card for the day:
What is the guidance for today?
Page of Cups
This card has been coming up a lot recently!
On this card, in the Rolla Nordic Tarot, we see a young man, wearing a tunic with a big flower on the sleeve. He has a grapevine and grapes coming out of his hat and a scarf that wraps around his neck and tickles the cup he is holding. He is standing on the shore of what looks like a stream flanked by tufts of grass. You can hear the water flowing over the earth. In other decks, there is a fish popping out of the top of his cup, but that is not so in this depiction. There is a heart symbol on his cup and a flower in his other hand.
The Page of Cups represents someone who is young, creative, intuitive, emotional, and fresh in mind and heart. It can represent your own state of being or that of another person or it could represent an actual young person in your life.
In the upright position, the Page of Cups is all about new and creative opportunities, intuitive messages, and emotions that may come out of nowhere! This card suggests following your intuition and going with the flow to see where it takes you.
Open your mind and heart to the impossible and let yourself dream and be guided by natural omens and synchronicities. Be like a child, curious and filled with wonder about the Universe and the opportunities presented. The Page of Cups asks you to explore the emotional and intuitive sides of yourself.
Since the Pages are the messengers of the Tarot, the Page of Cups could mean a message has come to you or will come to you, out of the blue that may be about a creative idea, opportunity, or possibility, or from a young page-like person. Whatever the message is, it is a pleasant one, in the upright position.
