Good afternoon, friends!
Well, Happy Father’s Day weekend! It’s very interesting that we are having this New Moon in Gemini, which is the Sun and the Moon coming together, and as they do so, they are forming a square to Neptune. The Sun square Neptune can have a lot to do with the fate around the significant men or solar figures in our lives, so it seems really meaningful that this transit is happening on Father’s Day!
I have a few shout-outs I’d like to give today—first I’d like to wish my own father a Happy Father’s Day—I love you, Dad! I appreciate you so much and I am so lucky to be your daughter.
Second, I’d like to wish my husband a Happy Father’s Day—I love you honey and you are an amazing dad, and the kids and I are so blessed to have you in our lives.
And third, I’d like to also give out a Happy Birthday wish to my amazing big sister who is having her birthday on Sunday! I love you and hope your birthday is amazing!

Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
On Saturday the Moon is in Gemini and will be in Gemini for the New Moon late Saturday night, early Sunday, and then she will ingress into her home sign of Cancer on Sunday morning.
The first transit on the agenda Saturday is the Moon in Gemini forms a sesquiquadrate to Pluto in Capricorn indicating some tension around deep feelings or the traditional structures in your life that are going through a metamorphosis. The Moon in Gemini wants the changes to happen quickly but this energy represents delays. Don’t worry, whatever is changing in your life has its own divine timing. Trust the process.
Then at 4:13 am ET, the Moon forms a sextile to Mars in Leo and this could represent quick decisions being made! People with leadership abilities will thrive with this transit as the Moon and Mars in a harmonious aspect represent passion, enthusiasm, initiative, and a desire for change. People also may be motivated by strong feelings to travel. This is a reminder that even though things are moving slower than maybe you want them to be, they are still moving.
At 7:34 am ET, the Moon forms a semisquare and a sesquiquadrate to the North and South Nodes respectively. This means that we want to take action on something but we have to plan it out carefully first. It’s like deciding to go on a vacation, but you can’t just jump in the car and go, you have to make plans, book your hotels, rent the car, and pack your bags, right? So, this feels like the energy of planning—it has the intention to manifest something, but can’t quite take action yet.
Then in the mid-morning at 10:33 am ET, the Moon in Gemini forms a sextile to Chiron in Aries which could indicate that we feel we are in better alignment with our identities and we may also feel less vulnerable or insecure about things. This is a positive transit that may boost your self-confidence.
The next two transits on Saturday are important underlying energies to the New Moon on Saturday night.
