Good morning, friends!
Unfortunately, I have a migraine this morning, so I am going to go over the horoscope first giving you all the highlights of the weekend, and then I will do my best to break down the transits, but bear with me, LOL! Then I will go over the three-card spread for the weekend which is a good one, so I’m excited to share that with you! Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
Well, here we are on the weekend and we have so many planets at the final degrees of their signs that this weekend can feel really edgy!
We have Neptune at 27°Pisces and Pluto at 29°Capricorn, both retrograde, so they are reevaluating and reassessing deep internal truths that may feel a bit confusing, but they are in a sextile to one another so they are trying to work together to bring in some opportunities for growth and healing.
Mars will hit the 29th degree on Saturday at 4:41 pm engaging in a partile quincunx to Pluto which applies massive pressure to our willful desires, motivations, and feelings of identity over the weekend. Who we think we are and what we think we should be doing will be challenged by the deeper instinctual feelings of survival. Then Mars moves into the sign of Virgo on Monday representing a huge shift away from the gregarious, dramatic Leo energy into the more methodical, detailed, and precise Virgo energy.
Mercury is moving really fast moving at over 2° per day! On Sunday he will form a trine to Neptune in Pisces indicating a huge wave of emotions coming out and needing to be talked about and then by the next day, he will hit that last degree of Cancer about noon on Monday and then within four hours, oppose Pluto! So, whatever huge emotional tidal wave happens this weekend will be met with a powerful transformation on Monday! This is intense!
Uranus is now at 22° of Taurus, which on a personal side note just happens to be exactly opposite my natal Uranus indicating a mid-life crisis moment for me personally and anyone else who was born in 1979 has either been going through their Uranus opposite Uranus or will be going through it. Collectively, whenever an outer planet ingresses into a new degree within a sign it is a big deal because these planets move so slowly, so this represents another set of unpredictable factors coming into play.
So, we have a lot of things building up—like water balloons being filled up to their absolute limits and then in the beginning of next week they all pop!
Not to mention that we are approaching the Sun opposing Pluto on July 21, and then ingressing into Leo while Venus stationing retrograde on July 22—illuminating powerful transformations in our personal lives around relationships, money, and what we hold dear. So, the energy feels a bit extreme, edgy, and very personal.
