Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.

Good morning, friends!

The biggest transit over the next two days is Mars Opposite Saturn which will bring up a lot of feelings of exasperation, frustration, and plain old annoyance.  We may want things to go a certain way and this opposition represents feeling blocked in a major way, so do your best to chill out, relax, and surrender to what it truly means to be patient.

Okay, let’s get into… the astrology

On Wednesday…

The Moon in Leo perfects a square to Jupiter in Taurus at 1:02 am ET.  It may feel like we’ve gotten to the other side of something and the urge to go big or go home may be very strong, but this transit represents needing to show a little restraint and emotional control.  We could be bursting at the seams with over-the-top, dramatic, and grandiose energy, coupled with the Jupiterian joviality—I just picture Santa Claus drinking wine and eating grapes while watching a very theatrical comedy show and having a great time, but there may be the tendency to drink too much or laugh too much—this transit is a square which is the nature of Mars and so even if it is fun in the moment, there could be a hangover later.  Just be mindful to not overdo it!

Then at 1:59 am ET, the Moon in Leo forms a sesquiquadrate to Neptune in Pisces symbolizing some feelings of uncertainty or confusion, possible delays, and/or setbacks.

By 7:22 am ET, the Moon in Leo conjoins Mercury in Leo and our emotions have finally caught up with our minds, environments, and verbal expressions.  We are able to express our feelings with love, courage, and liveliness which is really good for getting along with people, working together, and collaborating.

In the afternoon on Wednesday at 4:51 pm ET the Moon in Leo perfects a trine to Chiron in Aries representing all the vulnerabilities and emotional identity wounds we’ve been dealing with get a positive outlet and confirmation from the Universe that it’s okay to wear our hearts on our sleeves.

Late Wednesday night at 9:51 pm ET the Moon makes a square to Uranus in Taurus which could represent a sudden surprise event that takes place and creates a shock that breaks stagnant things apart.  Leo is a fixed fire sign and Taurus is a fixed Earth sign so this makes me think that whatever unexpected thing that happens is like a wildfire that burns down the wooded forest—it may seem devastating in the moment, but it’s necessary for the regeneration of the forest.

On Thursday…

The moon in Leo forms a quincunx to Neptune in Pisces at 8:18 am ET and this means we are over feeling confused and uncertain or dealing with delays; it’s like we can see the fog starting to lift.

Then at 9:06 am ET, the Sun in Cancer makes a trine to Neptune in Pisces and this is a beautiful harmonious transit that is symbolically like the Sun shining through the fog, clearing the rest of it away.  It can mean feeling more compassionate, imaginative, and artistic than usual.  We may feel called toward spirituality, mysticism, or the divine.  This transit can also represent long journeys, heightened intuition, or nurturing someone with love.  The Sun in Cancer likes to mother others and Neptune in Pisces can sometimes represent someone who is lost or confused and needs tending to, so we may feel very caring toward others during this transit.

At 10:08 am ET, the Moon in Leo conjoins Venus in Leo and this symbolizes feeling emotionally in sync with our pleasure centers.  We could experience more love, affection, and happiness.  Our popularity and finances could get a boost.  We could feel more sociable and cheerful.  It’s a good day for favorable experiences with family and loved ones and can indicate good fortune!

Right after the Moon conjoins Venus she then makes a quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn and this may bring some closure to something that happened this last weekend.  Last weekend could’ve been a time when deep feelings showed up and now, by Thursday we are finding some separation from them, maybe there’s an old program we no longer want to identify with or feed anymore with our attention, so this may be a time of change or letting go of this.

At 11:59 am ET, the Moon in Leo forms a trine to the North Node in Aries and a sextile to the South Node in Libra meaning we feel we are on the right path and things just seem to flow.

The Moon makes her ingress into the sign of Virgo at 1:12 pm ET.  The Virgo Moon inspires us to find solutions to things, clean things up, and focus on the to-do lists in our lives.   Thursday afternoon we may feel that we have a long impending list as the Moon in Virgo is approaching an opposition to Saturn (which will perfect early Friday morning at 2:02 am ET) indicating immense pressure to be responsible, controlled, and emotionally serious.

Before the Moon makes her opposition to Saturn, though, Mars beats her there and perfects his opposition to Saturn on Thursday at 4:39 pm ET.  Mars opposite Saturn can mean frustrating events or difficult situations that may feel very confrontational.  Mars in Virgo wants to take action and forge ahead with the plan and Saturn in Pisces wants to restrict the flow, control the libido or the primal energy of Mars and direct it into building structures.  It’s a very dynamic transit and on the negative side could result in accidents, injuries, and even dental problems.  We could also see violence, fires, and a small percentage of people needing to have serious surgery since Mars is the planet associated with cutting.  On the positive side, if this energy is used constructively, we could see a controlled and focused effort to achieve a goal, through discipline, persistence, and endurance.  Structures and buildings like bridges, skyscrapers, and railroads, that usually come with some dangerous work environments could be built.

Also, Mars opposite Saturn represents extreme heat and fire that causes damage and destruction—we have been in a historic heat wave for the past week or so and it looks like it is going to continue for a bit.  This seems very Mars opposite Saturn to me in that there is a hot destructive force that is capable of causing damage to buildings, structures, and the very structure that is within our souls, our bodies.

After Mars opposes Saturn, the Moon in Virgo forms a sesquiquadrate to Chiron in Aries which, so if yesterday we were wearing our hearts on our sleeves and feeling confident and less vulnerable, today we may be feeling a bit more guarded and apprehensive about sharing our feelings with others.

Let’s move on to the card for the day:

What is the guidance for today?

Knight of Wands—Reversed

On this card we see a knight, wearing a full suit of armor and helmet, with only his face exposed.  On top of his helmet, a red plume blows in the wind.  His horse seems agitated and ready to race.  He holds a sprouted wand in his right hand, symbolizing passion and enthusiasm for his mission.  Salamanders, representing the element of fire, grace his tunic.  In the background are three mountain peaks in a hot desert.

In the upright position, the Knight of Wands represents someone who is really revved up with inspired energy—they are ready to take action and move quickly with passion, enthusiasm, and lots of motivation.  They have a clear vision of what they want and they are moving forward toward their goal with gusto!  This would be a good omen to go for whatever it is that you are trying to pursue.

But, in the reversed position, this may mean delays, setbacks, and frustrated energy that has nowhere to go!  You may feel really excited about something but don’t know where to focus your energy; so you feel scattered or blocked.  You will need to find an outlet for this energy and this card coming up reversed is an invitation to pursue alternative ways to manifest your desires.

It could also represent that you have a project that you are passionate about but it is for yourself only and not for any other purpose except that you want to do it!  This could be something like learning a new hobby or skill that brings you pleasure and delight.

In some instances, the Knight of Wands reversed represents being hasty about something and needing to restrain yourself in some way.  I feel that this card really ties in nicely with the Mars opposite Saturn transit in that we have a massive amount of energy and drive, but we are coming up against a brick wall in some areas of our lives that we need to navigate with great compassion, clarity, and precision.  My only advice is to do your best to think things through and try to be proactive, not reactive.  There could be the desire to force something to happen because you had your sights set on it, but there’s resistance and that resistance is there to teach you something, and you’ll miss that lesson if you push your agenda through disregarding that, so if you feel opposition, sit back and ask yourself, “What am I being offered to learn here?”
