Good morning, friends!
This has been a busy week!
Two days ago, during Mercury’s Cazimi I decided to do something special for all my loyal subscribers and sent out an invitation for a personal tarot card draw, titled “I’ve Been Thinking About You!” as a way to say Thank you!

Yesterday was my youngest daughter’s 4th birthday! We had a nice time eating pizza and cake, and playing Operation! Happy Birthday, sweetie! How awesome to have a birthday with the Sun trine Jupiter, right?!

Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
(All times are in Easter Time (ET) unless mentioned otherwise)
On Friday…
The Moon ingresses into Cancer at 12:59 a.m., so really early on Friday morning or late on Thursday night, depending upon your time zone.
The moon is at home in Cancer so you may want to be at home, too! Don’t be surprised if you want to snuggle up in a warm blanket, drinking hot cocoa, while curled up on your couch, ushering in the fall vibes already! When the moon is in Cancer we want to focus on our home, making it comfortable— this includes cleaning, organizing, decluttering, and decorating, as well as cooking good-smelling foods or diffusing yummy-smelling essential oils. We may feel like staying in tonight, but on the other hand, we may want to go out with friends or family and have a nice evening—more about why when we get there!
After the Moon ingresses into Cancer she forms a semisquare to Jupiter in Taurus retrograde and this means that we may be thinking and planning about what we want to do with our home space…specifically what we may want to bring into the home that would enhance its coziness or how we want to clean up or reduce the clutter in a certain area. This is a time of planning, though, and maybe a good moment to start a Pinterest board to collect your ideas all in one place.
The Sun rises on the East Coast at 6:57 am and right before that at 6:43 am the Moon makes a trine to Saturn in Pisces symbolizing feeling in control of your emotions, your circumstances, and your intuition. You may have been receiving many messages this week and now Saturn allows you the space and time to assimilate these messages into something coherent, creative, and even mystical. It’s like what you’ve been feeling all week just starts to make sense and you may feel more grounded and secure in yourself and in the support structures around you.
As the sunbeams are lifting the darkness from the sky, like a powerlifter raises weights over his head, effortlessly without breaking a sweat, naturally because he was made for this, the Sun in Virgo perfects a trine to Jupiter in Taurus retrograde and as all the stars wink to sleep and the animals yawn awake, feelings of optimism and confidence may fill our hearts. This is the bookend to our workweek that I spoke about in the weekly overview on Monday! And I’m so excited about this transit!
The Sun and Jupiter in a trine is a wonderful transit that symbolizes more joy, more happiness, and more blessings coming into our lives- and quickly too, like the flooding of the Nile, nourishing the dry, thirsty land. It represents important possibilities in our lives that may give our dreams a boost or more influence. It could also indicate internal beliefs that you hold being illuminated and brought into the forefront of your mind in order for your careful reflection. It’s a sunny aspect that could expand our thinking, our attitudes, and our horizons in positive ways! We may experience movement toward our goals, a certain measurement being reached, or feelings of mastery as this transit unfolds and brightens our day—and the weekend ahead! We may experience things that fit these two archetypes working together as long as they are within three degrees of engagement, which will be until about Tuesday of next week when this aspect starts to separate.
In the afternoon on Friday, the Moon in Cancer forms a square to Mars in Libra indicating some stormy situation that brings some wind and rain, but it’s the kind of wind and rain that fills up the sails, pushing the boat forward. The Moon and Mars in a square in cardinal signs gives us motivation to get things going, make things happen, and be productive. There could be a lot of activity Friday afternoon into the evening and the idea of going out or doing something social may be needed, desired, and explored!
With full sails, the Moon makes a semisquare to Uranus at 4:44 pm, followed by Mars in Libra perfecting a sesquiquadrate to Uranus in Taurus retrograde, as well, but 3 hours later at 7:58 pm. The Moon and Mars making these aspects to Uranus in the evening on Friday means that there may be some unusual setbacks or delays to the evening’s activities, but minor and not too hard to handle, just keep your cool and roll with the punches.
Late at night, at 10:56 pm the Moon in Cancer perfects a harmonious sextile to Mercury in Virgo retrograde, which means there are opportunities for pleasant interactions and conversations in a mostly chill environment on Friday night! It’s a great omen for cooperative endeavors, collaborations, or conversations, as our minds and hearts feel in alignment with each other and we are able to express ourselves with clarity and ease.
The Weekend…
Looks interesting with Mercury making some frustrating aspects to the Nodes on Saturday and the Moon in Cancer squaring the Nodes on Sunday before also opposing Pluto in Capricorn. It feels like important conversations and family or relationship events taking place that may move things forward a bit. We’ll talk more about this weekend in the weekend forecast!

What is the guidance for today?
Blue Moon ~ Believe in the impossible
On this card, we see a bright blue full moon floating in the Black Sea of the heavens, sprinkled with white stars. Below the moon is a row of sugar-white trees in the foreground and in the background, ghostly-lit blue trees.
This card means that whatever is about to occur in your life is a rare opportunity that doesn’t happen very often or may not happen again if you don’t accept it while it’s here! Now is the time to make that wish and send it out into the Universe because the impossible, unlikely, or unimaginable may be about to happen! By believing in yourself, your dreams, and your goals you set yourself up to receive miracles! What a beautiful card for the day! If anything, this card means, simply, that today is a lucky day!
