Good morning, friends!
Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
The Moon today will make her ingress into Sagittarius at 12:32 pm ET. The Moon in Sagittarius is a much more hopeful, bright, and optimistic Moon than the Moon in Scorpio. Laughter is the best medicine, as they say, and the Sagittarius Moon certainly thinks so! Prepare to laugh it off over the next couple of days. Laughter often follows a good cry and this couldn’t be more true with the transition from Scorpio to Sagittarius.
Mercury in Capricorn is on his last day of being retrograde, and made a quincunx to Mars in Gemini at 1:41 am ET—so there could be the feeling of not wanting to take action on something in your environment right now until Mercury stations direct. Maybe you’ve been having a lot of car trouble this Mercury retrograde or you’ve been having technical issues and delays which can often happen and so there could be the desire to get something going, but the reality is that you still have to wait for the right timing, which just isn’t now.
Venus in Aquarius is forming a semisquare to Jupiter in Aries today, which will perfect at 6:04 pm ET, so this could also echo the feeling of wanting a change to occur, but the timing just isn’t right, yet. Jupiter in Aries wants to get the big picture going—be independent and blaze his righteous path, and Venus in Aquarius wants to bring beauty and sweetness to all—in an equal opportunity kind of way, so the semi-square between the two is trying to find balance for the group while holding space for the individual and it feels a bit stagnant. The intentions for blessings are there, but we are stuck at a yellow light.
Once Mercury stations direct tomorrow and the Sun conjoins Pluto, I think the light will turn green and we can let go of whatever it is that has been holding us back and be able to drive forward. Until then, we are a bit like sitting ducks in the water—waiting for the current to take us in the right direction.
The upcoming Sun’s ingress into Aquarius on Friday and the New Moon coming on Saturday, suggests that the winds of change are most definitely coming! You’ll be able to feel when the timing is right.

What is the guidance for today?
7 of Cups
This card is all about our dreams, fantasies, opportunities, and choices. The man on this card is gazing at seven golden cups, sitting in the clouds, full of different things that he desires, or thinks he desires. Some of the cups are filled with jewels, a castle, and a wreath of victory, but there are also cups filled with a dragon, a stone head, and snakes, representing that he needs to be careful about what he wishes for. He must go beyond the illusion of something shiny or adventurous and make a decision about what is right for him from a realistic standpoint; probing the depths of the offer to unearth the reality of what each opportunity requires of him in exchange for the gift he would receive.
The 7 of Cups can also represent wishful thinking about something in your life, often money, health, or love that may actually be way beyond your grasp.
If you find that your ideas are too fanciful and unrealistic, this card is a sign to pick one, that is actually doable and focus on that.
By focusing on the one thing you desire most that makes sense and actually putting your plans down on paper (after Mercury stations direct tomorrow)—and then taking the necessary steps forward to attain this goal—the thing you want is more likely to come to be. If one is always dreaming but never doing, then one’s wishes will never manifest. Action is what gets the train moving on the tracks, not wishing the train would go.
I find it funny that this card would come up today when this morning I found yet another astrology book to add to my wish list: Bernadette Brady’s book on Fixed Stars! This book looks amazing, but my wish list is long and I am still in the middle of reading the last book I purchased! I wish there was an Astrological book subscription box where I could receive 1-2 books on Astrology per month for a fixed price! That would be a dream box, for sure!
