Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
Well, I am feeling a lot better today! I actually was able to take a shower yesterday and get dressed in normal clothes, after spending the whole weekend lying around in my robe sleeping as much as possible!
I feel the need to catch myself and everyone up on the astrology that I missed reporting on over the weekend—so that we can start today on the same page.
Last Friday when I came down with this cold, the Sun made its ingress into Aquarius.
Then over the weekend, we had a New Moon in Aquarius on Saturday, and then on Sunday, Venus and Saturn made their conjunction in Aquarius. Sunday night, Uranus stationed direct in Taurus.
Then on Monday, the Moon moved into Pisces, which is where she is today.
So, we had a lot of stuff transition over the weekend! We entered a whole new solar season, a new lunar cycle, and Venus and Saturn restarted their cycle with their conjunction. Plus, Uranus started moving forward again, which is another beginning of a cycle—additionally, the Chinese New Year happened as well!
This was a lot to have happened over the last few days! What’s also interesting to note is that all of these changes happened in the fixed, air sign of Aquarius, except for Uranus’s direct motion which happened in the fixed earth sign of Taurus. In Modern astrology, Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius. It feels very much like the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Saturn were all planning a surprise party for Uranus, which is ironic because Uranus is the planet of surprises! Or maybe it’s like the crew on a racetrack, getting the car ready for the race car driver to arrive—I don’t know the perfect analogy, but it feels really coordinated, like cogs in a wheel aligning themselves and the clock beginning to work again or something.
So, this all brings us up to today!
Today, the Moon is in Pisces. She is off her square to Mars in Gemini, which happened in the middle of the night, and her big plans for today are to form a sextile to Uranus in Taurus at 12:42 pm ET! The sextile is a positive and harmonious aspect, that brings opportunity and blessings into our lives. Between water and earth signs, Pisces and Taurus, whatever the opportunity is it will be something that you have to make a choice to utilize or not. When earth and water form, we get mud, right, which could seem like something icky and bothersome to many, but certain kinds of mud are actually really detoxifying, beautifying, and remineralizing—like the Moor Mud found in bogs in Europe. So whether or not you will utilize the gift, is up to you.
The Sun in Aquarius is also forming a sextile to Jupiter in Aries today and this is a really great, positive aspect! This is another harmonious sextile, but this time between air and fire signs! So, this sextile could mean an opportunity falling in your lap that is really beneficial and a lot more obviously so than the sextile between the earth and water elements.
This Sun/Jupiter aspect may symbolize taking a new direction, feeling new beliefs about something, or having new and exciting motivations that drive you forward toward your ambitions! It’s very positive and uplifting energy! It’s intellectual and passionate and gives people a more sunny disposition today. Hallelujah! Because I’m sure I’m not the only one who could use a boost of positivity!

On this card from the Motherpeace Tarot, we see a woman eight months pregnant, relaxing by a watermelon vine.
(Relaxing may be too strong a word because let’s be real if you’ve ever been eight months pregnant and you decided to sit down naked in a watermelon bed it’s because you couldn’t stand on your hot tired feet any longer and your back was hurting from carrying a squirming watermelon inside of you! So, this isn’t some beautiful resting moment, this is because the woman is exhausted and tired AF! But, it’s not like she’s not grateful for the amazing job her body is doing, or anything, it’s just that it’s really hard, exhaustive work and it would be nice if someone would get her some water and a sarong or something, you know!)
This card is all about looking at all that you’ve accomplished with all your hard work and taking a moment to enjoy how far you’ve come because the harvest time or delivery time is really close. It’s also easy to get exhausted and feel very tired and over it towards the end of something, just like this woman on the card, at the end of her pregnancy—she may feel really huge, uncomfortable, and ready to be done being pregnant, but the truth of the matter is she still has a lot more work to do before that baby will be ready to come out! So, there’s this combination of being happy about all the progress you’ve made, but still having to wait longer for the harvest time and needing to pace yourself so you don’t get burnt out in the process.
