Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
Today was not a normal day. My toddler woke up bright and early and you can imagine what this has done to my carefully constructed morning agenda—yep, that’s right, it’s out the window! So, today’s horoscope is going to be a bit on the short side (I know some of you are laughing because everything I do is “on the short side!”).
Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
The Moon today is still in Aries so the desire to be independent and conquer the lands may be strong. There could also be feelings of aggravation if there are limitations in your life that keep you from doing or experiencing what you want. The Moon in Aries is fiercely competitive and doesn’t care if she has any support or allies—she can do it herself! So, this attitude can create conflicts and strife as the Aries Moon blazes her trail, not looking behind her as she goes, and barely paying attention to what is around her as she charges forth--so the potential to burn bridges along the way today is high!
The Sun and Mercury today are both entering into the 3° range of engagement of forming trines: the Sun trine Mars and Mercury trine Uranus. So there is some harmonious and productive energy coming in that will perfect over the weekend—these trines could bring sudden and fast changes to our motivations or environments, or both!
Venus is in the final degrees of Aquarius today and makes her ingress into Pisces at 9:32 pm ET. This is awesome as Venus is exalted in Pisces and so whichever house Pisces occupies in your chart you may feel some blessings, nourishment, and Venusian enrichment.

A planet exalted is said to be a planet that is lifted up, put on a pedestal, and given reverence, sometimes a little bit exaggerated reverence, but reverence nonetheless. So, Venusian topics like love, romance, money, values, beauty, aesthetics, pleasures, etc…are getting a boost from Venus as she is lifted up in Pisces. She will be traveling through Pisces for the next three weeks or so.
Let’s move on to the card for the day:
What is the guidance for today?
XV The Devil
The Devil card in the tarot is all about the shadow side of life and the many temptations that present themselves every day that try to drag us down into the selfish motivations of the ego. It represents our addictions, unhealthy attachments, restrictions that hold us back from being our best selves, and the dark side of our sexuality.
So, as the card for the day, with Venus entering Pisces, I feel this is a reminder to be aware of the negative addictions, ways of thinking, toxic relationship patterns, or dependencies that we can trap ourselves in that seriously limit the potential good things in our life. When the Devil card comes up, it asks us to take a look at where we are giving in to the desire for instant gratification, which is where we are borrowing from our future instead of doing something to invest in our future.
I feel with Venus in Pisces in her exaltation, it’s like she’s on vacation in her beautiful vacation home. When we’re on vacation it is really easy to just want to have fun in the moment, right, I mean that’s why you’re on vacation in the first place! So it is really easy to overspend, overeat, and overindulge in things that once you get back home you may ultimately regret and pay the real price for later. So, this card is a reminder to think and act smart for your higher self and for your future self. Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean it’s time to throw your diet out the window or spend all the money you’re saving for that large ticket item on buying a bunch of new clothes that honestly you can only wear on vacation!
