I have a Gemini rising, which means that I love words, word games, writing, reading, communicating, talking, chatting, spelling, spelling games, and talking games—you get the idea!
I also have Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, in the sign of Scorpio, which means I love to dig down deep and find the meaning, dissect things, investigate, poke at, look at with a microscope, research, and get down to the bottom of things, digging up the deep, dark truths.
Put these two together and you can see why I love words and what they mean.
I am always trying to expand my vocabulary (Sag sun!) and feel more smart and less stupid (a big lack of air signs in my natal chart). (Grammarly just suggested that I write “smarter” instead of “more smart,” but I think “more smart” illustrates my point better, don’t you? LOL!)
Every week (actually, “day” is more accurate) I come across words that I can’t easily define. I may “know” the word in context, but forget asking me to define it, because I don’t possess this amazing skill!
This list is a living document of the new words (to me) that I add every week in an attempt to expand my vocabulary. I am sharing it with you, dear reader, because maybe you suffer from hanging out with little kids all day that say things like, “Might if you’re a mermaid” and “Me goed outside.”
So, this is a list to help me feel like an adult again, not a toddler. I will add to this list whenever I discover a new word. I hope you enjoy this little collection.

Was this fun? Would you like to know more; such as what sentence I heard/read each word in and from whom/where? Let me know in the comments if this type of nerdy word stuff excites you and you want more!
Until I’m stumped again,

P.S. What is your rising sign? What sign is your Mercury in? Do you love words, too?
I made up my own word and definition and now it’s available in our shop on mugs, t-shirts, and as a cool sticker!
Chucklefuckery...nice. Cancer rising, btw.
