Good afternoon, friends!
Today, I feel a bit like I am caught in a never-ending hour between seven and eight am. It is raining and because of this, the house is dark except for the light from our lamps and illuminated Christmas lights. It feels early, really early, even though it is almost 2 p.m.!
Admittedly, I am still in my robe, which is also contributing to this time illusion. But, I often write in my robe, starting in the wee hours of the morning wrapped up in the darkness, words spilling across the page in unison with the morning sunlight as it rolls over the horizon.
But, today there has been no natural break in the darkness signaling that it is time to get dressed, so it just feels as if I am stuck in an endless time loop.
