Good morning, friends!
Wow, today has a lot going on astrologically and I want to touch on most of it, but before we get into it, I want to wish everyone a Happy Solstice and a Happy Birthday season to my Capricorns out there! This Capricorn season looks very dynamic and full of shifts that are going to set the stage for 2024, so let’s go!
Many things happened while we were sleeping: Venus in Scorpio perfected an opposition to Uranus in Taurus retrograde; the Moon in Aries made a trine to Mars in Sagittarius and a quincunx to Venus in Scorpio, and Mercury in Capricorn retrograde formed a sextile to Saturn in Pisces. Then this morning, the Moon conjoined the North Node in Aries and Mars perfected a quincunx to Uranus in Taurus retrograde…all of these transits are setting the stage for the big shift happening tonight, the Sun’s annual ingress into Capricorn, the Winter Solstice.
As we get closer to the main event of the day, the Moon in Aries will form a square to Pluto in Capricorn who has now moved to the last degree, the 29th degree, never to return to 28 degrees of Capricorn in our lifetimes! Even when Pluto goes retrograde in 2024, he will only move back to 29°38’, so this is it. After her square to Pluto, while still in Aries, she perfects a trine to the Sun and they stay in trine as they both move out of the fire signs Aries and Sagittarius, respectively, into Taurus and Capricorn, shifting the whole picture at once! This means that a very big shift is upon us and this Winter solstice marks the seeding point for a very dynamic winter season!
Okay, so I just rattled off a bunch of astro-speak, so let me put it into some layman's language we can all understand…
