Good morning, friends!
Yesterday morning at about 7:13 am ET Jupiter hit 21°Taurus 00’ beginning his partile conjunction to Uranus, which will be exact on April 20, 2024, when they both reach 21°Taurus 49’ at 10:26 pm ET. Jupiter and Uranus meet approximately every 14 years in a different sign, so it’s significant when it happens.
Over the next couple of days this energy will only be building and getting stronger and stronger as Jupiter and Uranus get closer and closer, and then after their conjunction on Saturday, it will take Jupiter about 15 days to progress past the 3°range of engagement with Uranus (a range he has been in leading up to the conjunction since March 30, 2024). We have to remember that transits are much like waveforms, building, peaking, and dissipating, so we can “feel” them or notice things happening in our lives or the world at large that fit the archetypes, in the time leading up to them, during, and after the transit.
You may notice some classic Jupiter/Uranus conjunction archetypes of inventiveness and big ideas, as Jupiter is full of big ideas and Uranus brings sudden insight and flashes of genius. The combination can be like an explosion of knowledge that creates giant leaps and bounds, shaking humanity free from the confines of a previous knowledge base. One of the interesting things that I have found in my research of this combination thus far is that during the 1850s when Uranus was in Taurus the mechanical washing machine was invented and then the year that Jupiter met up with Uranus at 29° Taurus in 1858, the rotary washing machine was invented, so there was an expansion (Jupiter) to the original idea of literally shaking (Uranus) dirt (Taurus) off of clothing! I find that fascinating and amusing! I can’t imagine life without modern washing machines, so I am very grateful for this invention.
Today the Moon started in Leo and made a trine to the Sun in Aries at 8:02 am ET symbolizing harmony and flow between what we are trying to do and get accomplished with how we are feeling and our environment.
At 10:10 am ET, the Moon ingressed into Virgo and things could begin to get a bit more technical as the Virgo Moon tends to focus on the details, schedules, and mundane tasks needed to advance things forward.
The rest of the day is studded with the Moon forming successive sesquiquadrates, first to the North Node at 11:22 am, then to Venus in Aries at 1:44 pm, followed by Mercury retrograde in Aries at 3:53 pm, and lastly to Chiron in Aries at 8:19 pm ET.
The Sesquiquadrate is a 135° angle and represents something we’ve already taken action on having some delays, setbacks, or challenges that require some patience, a bit of waiting, or coordinating our efforts in some way.
This means that the direction we are going may experience some speed bumps today. We may be feeling a bit at odds with our relationships or going back over a conversation we had in the past and wondering if we said the right things or maybe we are trying to get to the bottom of an emotional issue that has popped up—whatever it is—today is a day of sorting through things and making preparations as we wait for the timing to be right again for the next step.
Mars is at 20°Pisces 40’ today and is approaching a sextile to Jupiter and Uranus, which will perfect tomorrow. Once he makes that sextile he will also be right in the middle of Saturn and Neptune. Mars sextile Jupiter and Uranus can mean a willingness to work on expanding and bringing good fortune through work, strength, stamina, and power. Mars is in Pisces, is in the domicile of Jupiter, traditionally, and thus is more than happy to help bring about what Jupiter is fitting to expand and bless, albeit with a Martial flare! In Pisces, this may mean there’s a spiritual, artistic, or musical side to how Mars does this.
Mars and Uranus have a history of shaking things up in a sort of violent way, but the sextile is the nature of Venus which is smooth, kind, and pleasant, so this may mean a less destructive awakening and a more constructive reorganizing instead.
Let’s see what the cards have to say…
What is the guidance for today?
