Good evening, friends!
The big themes for this week are to: Initiate, Stabilize, and Connect.
As I have been studying the astrology coming up for this next week, it looks pretty good! There are some really beneficial aspects happening and a much lighter energy than some of the previous weeks we’ve covered in this series.
It’s a lot like the last hoorah of Summer! So, for this week’s short story, based on the transits, I’m going to share a personal story of going to Outdoor Education Camp. It’s a short and sweet weekly horoscope, but I think my experiences will fit in nicely…
So, let’s jump right into, the Astrology….
5-Day Weekly Forecast: Monday-Friday, August 15-19, 2022
Monday 8/15/22
The theme for Monday is: A Spring in your step
On the first day that I arrived at camp, I remember being really excited. I think they gave us a tour of the facilities and we all got to pick our bunks. It all felt new, fresh, and fun!
I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
The transits: Moon in Aries; Mercury trine the North Node; Sun sesquiquadrate Jupiter.
Tuesday 8/16/22
The theme for Tuesday is: Getting Used to All the Changes
On the second day at camp, we were all eager to start doing something interesting. I believe we went on a hike through the woods. Along our walk, the camp leader found a banana slug and told us all about them. I am not sure how exactly it came about but somehow I ended up kissing that banana slug! I can’t remember if it was because the camp leader asked if anyone dared to kiss it or if another student dared me to kiss it. Either way, I kissed it! It was slimy and cold, but funny.
I remember eating sloppy joes for the very first time in my life and thinking they were disgusting, as well.
It was a day of trying new things, being open to changes or radical ideas, and by the end of the evening having a relative idea of the daily routine at camp.
The transits: Moon in Aries for most of the day and then enters into Taurus at 10:22 PM ET; Mercury trine Uranus.
Wednesday 8/17/22
The theme for Wednesday is: In the flow of the routine
By the third day at camp, I felt comfortable with the daily routine. We were supposed to wake up around 6 am; shower and get ready for the day’s activities. Then we went to breakfast in the great hall. After that, we met up with our camp leaders and did some sort of hike or nature walk. Then we had lunch. Then it was on to an educational talk in the afternoon. Then dinner, and finally in the evening, there were nightly games.
By this time, even though I was in the flow of the camp routine and I was enjoying myself, I was also noticing some homesickness. I missed my bed. I missed the food I liked. I missed my family.
The transits: Moon in Taurus; Sun quincunx Neptune.
Thursday 8/18/22
The theme for Thursday is: A Bonfire at Night
The fourth day was a really fun day! I remember that the kid I had a crush on smiled at me! We found a garter snake on our hike. I believe there was a bonfire at night that was really fun!
This was the camp’s last hoorah before the next day when it was time to go home. It was fun and joyful, but also bitter-sweet.
The transits: Third quarter Moon in Taurus (conjunct Algol at 12:35 AM ET Friday, 9:35 PM Pacific time on Thursday night); Venus trine Jupiter; Mercury quincunx Saturn; Uranus slows down to 17 seconds per day.
Friday 8/19/22
The theme for Friday is: Exchanging Numbers Before Going Home
On the last day of the camp, there were very few activities planned. I feel like most of the day was spent packing up, eating, and getting ready to leave.
Before we all piled onto the busses, we got to say our goodbyes to the other kids that weren’t from our school, and exchange numbers. The camp was a fun way to make new friends!
During the bus ride home, it was a great time to reflect on the week that had passed, what I learned, who I’d made friends with, and the memories I had made.
The school year was not too far away, so as soon as I got home I would need to switch into “getting ready for school” mode. Summer was officially over, punctuated by this camp.
The transits: Moon enters Gemini in the morning; Sun quincunx Pluto; Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune. Over the weekend, Mars enters Gemini. Next week, Uranus stations retrograde.
I know that this 5-Day Weekly Forecast is a little bit different since I took you down memory lane instead of making up a fictional story, but it just fits the energy of this next week so well!
After this last weekend, with the Sun opposite Saturn, and Mars trine Pluto, it could feel like we made it through the woods, got over a block that we had, or we stood up to something that was trying to control us in some way—and now we have the green light to move forward. When Jupiter and Venus form a trine on Thursday--that’s Bonfire day--we will want to celebrate!
I hope this weekly forecast is helpful!
See you all Monday, for the regular daily horoscope.
Until tomorrow,

New Client Two Reading Special!
Ah, yes. Summer Camp. Fond memories. I remember being in Yosemite with a crowd of people gathering around a momma bear and her cubs. We were all getting too close (stupidly) when all of a sudden the mamma bear turned and ran straight toward me. I turned to run, and slipped and fell to the ground, with images of the bear catching me. Next thing I knew my brother was laughing at me. The bear had stopped, thankfully.

Looking forward to some green lights!
