Today is an interesting day...First, let’s talk about the astrology that may apply to you, and then at the end, I will share a personal little story of some things that are happening in my life that fit the transits.
Today the Moon is still in Capricorn, so those finances and that to-do list aren’t gonna balance or do themselves! Time to get to it. We can use this earthy, cardinal energy to get things done that need doing and/or make plans to get things done.
Mercury in Gemini retrograde is sextile to Jupiter in Aries—This gives us an interest in learning, teaching, or expanding our horizons in some way! There may be a gift or opportunity that falls into your lap and you may not know if you want to take it—stay positive, it will seem like a much better offer when Mercury enters back into Taurus by the 21st—and you’ll be able to make your decision. As always, with Mercury retrograde, expect some delays or setbacks.
The sun in Taurus is in a trine to Pluto in Capricorn retrograde—you can easily see deeply into yourself and your own psychology right now. Because this is a trine, it may feel easier than normal to be vulnerable and show your sensitive inner core. Be brave at this time and keep the faith that all will turn out in your favor. With Pluto, as long as you’re willing to do the work, no matter how painful the process, your courage to face your shadow side is always rewarded with transformation and growth. And because Pluto is retrograde it may feel like you’ve looked at this deep part of yourself before. No worries, sometimes we have to revisit a situation many times before we can transform it for the better—it’s all part of the process.
Hopefully this horoscope was helpful!
Now, onto my personal story…
Today I applied for financial assistance for a new astrology course learning Hellenistic astrology. It takes a certain amount of humbleness and courage to put oneself out there and admit that at 42 years old, I do not have it all figured out and I still need help achieving the things I desire at times. Unfortunately, for a lot of my adult life, it has been a lot of times! But, I must remain optimistic and trust in the divine. If it’s meant to be, it will be. There’s my underbelly, Pluto, please be gentle.
Interesting that I found this school at this time and decided to apply for this course as well because we are still in the throws of the Mars and Neptune conjunction in Pisces—desiring something more spiritual, more connected to the divine—and having to let go of my ego to possibly make it a reality. I needed to surrender and let go in order to write the financial hardship application. This transit is happening in my 11th house of hopes and dreams and the ruler of my 11th, Jupiter in traditional astrology or Neptune in modern, are both in my 11th house, hopefully granting my wish! But, sometimes Neptune can mean disillusion or idealism—maybe it would be too good to be true? Jupiter is the natal ruler of my 7th house of relationships of all kinds and Saturn/Uranus are the rulers of my 10th house of career—maybe Jupiter is trying to create a partnership/relationship that will advance my career through hard work and innovation--and I needed Mars (the natural ruler of my 12th) to come in there and give me the drive and courage to humbly ask for what I desired? Or does Mars represent my new spiritual teacher? Hmmm…
Until tomorrow,
AstroMommy
