Good afternoon, friends!

Over the weekend, we traveled through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Kansas. Friday’s energy was noticeably different than the rest of the weekend. With the Moon in trine to Mars on Friday, everything I did had a sense of urgency, and I felt like I was rushing around from one thing to the next, barely making it through each task, but ultimately succeeding.

Come Saturday, the whole drive felt like a metaphor for Saturn stationing retrograde—time seemed to go by at a snail’s pace.

A picture I took in Wyoming, I think.

It was wide open “big sky” country as my Dad called it, and there was hardly anything going on along the interstate except truck stops and restaurant chains.

Once we got into the western border of Kansas, with our destination on the eastern border, we made our way to a few landmarks: the World’s Largest Easel, the Largest Ball of Twine, and the Geographical Center of the 48 Contiguous States. These landmarks were fun, as they broke up the endless grassy plains and cornfields, but they were also located in sparsely populated towns, and it was a lot like visiting an unfilled museum.

“Does anyone live in Kansas?” I sarcastically asked my husband as we traveled along the empty highways toward our destination.

There just weren’t very many people there, and the towns were like ghost towns, but we did make some fun memories—I hope!

Saturn stationing retrograde can feel like this, sort of empty and slow, but with old historical landmarks, or ancient relics—we actually did find some fossils at one of the souvenir shops in Wyoming—that encourage you to think about the past.

Coming up this week:

We have the Last Quarter Moon in defiant Aries on Thursday, July 17, conjunct Chiron, bringing up past hurts, old wounds, or emotional triggers, that will inspire impulsive actions, despite potential reservations, risks, or consequences.

Then on July 18, 2025, Mercury stations retrograde, joining Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto, encouraging further reflection, reassessment, and recalibration, as well as the usual suspects during a Mercury retrograde—tech glitches, delays in transportation, and disrupted communications, etc…

Okay, let’s get into...the astrology

(all times are in Eastern time unless mentioned otherwise)

MONDAY, July 14, 2025—The Summary

The day may start out with frustration, delays, and setbacks. Things you wanted to get done today may require someone else to do their part first before you can do yours—this can be frustrating and test your patience. Thankfully, luck is on your side, which boosts your confidence.

There could be some tension in relationships or friendships, especially with important women in your life. Do your best to keep those cans of worms closed, because bringing up touchy subjects or past hurts will lead to nowhere today except awkward interactions. If you’re dealing with someone else stirring something up that is painful, you may feel as if you are walking on eggshells, trying not to trigger them. Humor is your best friend. Keep it light, carefree, and big-picture focused, and things will be okay.

MONDAY’S Transit Times
