Good morning, friends!
Well, today there are a lot of favorable transits on the horizon and then of course, some challenging ones.
Let’s not forget that the Sun and Pluto are only two days away from their major conjunction and subsequent ingress into Aquarius, which, as I said in the Weekly Forecast, is a historic transit, but for now, I will focus on the current transits, so we can snuggle up to what the planets are doing today.
The Moon ingressed into Taurus early this morning at 3:11 am ET. Taurus is the Moon’s exaltation, her vacation home, so she feels great! She can come and go as she pleases, do what she feels called to do, and there is a wait staff ready to brew her coffee, clean up after her, and cook her meals. How glorious!
Today looks like a great day as well for the Moon: she will be making a sextile to Saturn in Pisces, which is good; and a trine to Mercury and Mars in Capricorn, which is also nice.
But, in between these favorable aspects is a sesquiquadrate to Venus in Sagittarius and a semisquare to Neptune in Pisces—this means tension. Venus is applying to a square to Neptune which will perfect tomorrow at 10:48 am ET. They are only 1° apart, so we may be feeling the energies of these two archetypes strengthening. The Moon is getting in the middle of this energy and trying to figure it out. The Moon is happy. She is going along merrily, getting the go-ahead from Saturn, Mercury, and Mars that she’s on the right track, but something is pulling at the fringes of her consciousness like a rip tide pulls on your ankles, reminding you of the possibility of danger or at least unsure footing.
Venus and Neptune in a square speak of deception, especially self-deception. Walking into a trap that you fabricated for yourself. Giving into a desire that you know is tricky, dangerous, and slippery. It’s like walking into a donut shop when you’re on a simple carbs-free diet—will you have the willpower to resist the temptation of all the sweets? Why would you go into a donut shop when you are trying to avoid the sticky, sugar-filled concoction anyway?
Let’s go over the transits of the day, one by one to see if we can untangle the story a bit.
