I dreamed about changing a poopy diaper and looking through my pantry for refried beans…
In my dream, my youngest, who is now 2 ½, was a very young infant, maybe 4 months old, and she pooped. And it wasn’t the kind of easy-to-clean poop that you can just roll out of the diaper into the toilet, no— it was yellow-orange, finger paint consistency, come-out-the-legs and over-the-top of the diaper, poop! It was everywhere and I was trying to change her diaper on top of my minivan. I am only five feet tall, but somehow I was changing her diaper on top of my car!
Anyway…fast forward in the dream and I was hunting around my canned food pantry looking for refried beans. In my pantry were tons of cans of cow’s milk and cow’s meat—all with white labels and black cow symbols—I am allergic to cow dairy, so this was kind of weird, but not impossible as others in my family can eat the stuff, but anyway…I wasn’t looking for them to eat them, but to read the label. When I found the cans of refried beans, they were the wrong brand. What I found were home-canned refried beans with a homemade photo photoshopped onto the label, and it looked nothing like the Rosarita brand I was looking for!
Poop and beans…those were my dreams…kind of like this week coming up.
If you read the 5-day weekly forecast then you know that this week may be challenging for some. Of course, this depends upon your own personal natal chart and how the transits will be affecting you. If you would like to find out more, I would be happy to talk with you to book a reading.
I have put together a New Client special package—a Natal Chart reading followed by a Transit chart reading or a Solar Return reading (when booked together you save $20-$35) for a limited time! To find out how the transits are affecting you personally, we first need to do a Natal chart reading so I can get to “know you” and your chart, then a Transit/Solar Return reading can follow. Email me or click the New Client Two Reading Special link, if you’re interested.
If we’ve already had a Natal chart reading, but you want to know about your personal transits, let’s talk! A Transits or Solar Return reading can help you navigate what’s going on. I’m happy to help turn on the “flashlight” so you can “see” where you’re at and where you’re going.
So, Monday, we have the Moon moving into Cancer in the afternoon. The Moon rules Cancer, so she will be in her home sign. This will be great because she will feel comfortable! She is joining the benefic planet Venus, and Venus is making a square to Jupiter in Aries today.
This combination will give us all the drive and motivation to take action in our lives! It’s a doorway opening up, a gift coming in the mail, or a great hair day. Things are coming together and this energy is giving us a much-needed confidence boost.
The Moon will square Jupiter early tomorrow morning and then conjoin Venus, so she’ll be essentially picking up the gifts that Jupiter promised Venus and making the delivery.
I just had the image of a sweat lodge come into my mind…
Venus wants to eliminate toxins and sweat out negative energy. She has gathered all the water she needs; a nice comfy towel, and built the sweat lodge, but she doesn’t have the hot rocks. Thankfully, Jupiter in Aries does! With this square to Jupiter today, it’s like Jupiter bringing what Venus needs—the hot rocks—and now she can take action, pouring the water on them, creating the cleansing and purifying steam!
The card for the day is:
11 Pluto ~Transformation
“People living deeply have no fear of death.” ~Anais Nin
Pluto represents irreversible transformations, like birth or death. It symbolizes the ending of something and the beginning of something new. It’s like the phoenix dying and rising from the ashes. Pluto usually brings something we don’t want to face out of the closet and the only way to move forward is to finally face it.
This is an intense card to pull for the day, but I like to think of Pluto stuff like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. It will be beautiful in the end!
Did you know that the caterpillar, after spinning its cocoon, digests itself and turns into gooey caterpillar slime? Thankfully, there are amazing cells that remain, that have the divine instructions to turn into wings, eyes, etc…so that way, when the process is complete, a gorgeous butterfly emerges— but the actual process of the metamorphosis is icky, messy, and irreversible; once started they can’t go back.
In some way or another, we are all going through this process, especially if Pluto is transiting your Natal chart in some way. This is an important part of our spiritual growth and we must trust in the divine process. We, too, have special cells working with divine energy reorganizing us into amazing spiritual butterflies!
I hope today’s horoscope and card reading are helpful!
Until tomorrow,
AstroMommy
New Client Two Reading Special!
P.S. I found a typo in last Friday’s newsletter, which inspired this new mug! Available in white or black.
Today’s horoscope was brought to you by: the Moon in cancer, and venus in Cancer square Jupiter in Aries.
Today’s card was pulled from the Black Moon Astrology Cards available on Amazon here.
So, I always read your post when I'm eating breakfast. Today's post was especially inspiring. I imagined my scrambled eggs as a poopy diaper.... Not really! I did enjoy hearing about the caterpillar metamorphosis I had no idea it digested itself before it became a butterfly! That made me realize that I am not the sticky mess that I'm going through. I am not the gooey slime that is proceeding my next adventure. Thanks for the great post!
