My Thoughts on the Baltimore Bridge Collapse and Predictions From the Aries Ingress Chart
A Special Report
Good morning, friends!
I have only recently found out about the Baltimore Bridge collapse and found a good post about it from astrologer Anthony Louis where he discusses the timeline of the accident and the event chart that corresponds to it, which you can access here if you’d like to read about some of the astrology surrounding this terrible accident.
I am not surprised that something catastrophic happened during the eclipse season though, and with Mars and Saturn both in Pisces, a water sign, that it involved the destruction (Mars) of a structure (Saturn) over water (Pisces), like a bridge, seems like an unfortunate textbook prediction.
A week ago on the Spring Equinox, we discussed the Aries Ingress Chart pictured below and this is what I said about it:
“You can see the Sun at 00°Aries 00’ in the lower right, located in the 6th house of work and public health. This represents that this next year for the United States will be focused on the workforce of the country, especially trade unions, civil servants, and employees, as well as public health, healthcare, and hospitals.”
Sadly, so far, it has been reported that there were 8 construction workers on the bridge, and only two survived the collapse.
I also said, “…the Sun is co-present in Aries in the 6th house with Mercury, Chiron, and the North Node, indicating that there may be an increase in news about the country’s vulnerabilities and weaknesses, especially when it comes to the health of our workforce. There could be pioneering efforts focused on communication and transportation in the coming year aimed at improving the workforce and public health.”
I could definitely see this event triggering a focus on the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the country, especially involving the industries of our blue-collar workers, which the 6th house signifies.
We also discussed the Aries Ingress Chart superimposed on the USA Independence chart, which you can see below, and I can’t help but notice again Mars in Aquarius conjoined the Moon in Aquarius in the third house of transportation, in relation to this event! Aquarius is also a sign associated with technology and the fact that the cargo ship that hit the bridge was dealing with a technological failure is hard to miss!
As well as Mars conjoining the Moon and in the third house of transportation of the USA natal chart, the recent Lunar Eclipse conjoined the MC/IC axis of the natal chart as well, indicating that a fated event could occur that affects the public standing and reputation of the country in some way.
Mars has recently ingressed into Pisces as well, activating his upcoming conjunction to Saturn which will perfect on April 10, 2024, two days after the Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. The Total Solar Eclipse will be happening at 19°Aries 24’ and will be conjunct to the degree and minute to the transiting asteroid Chiron—this Solar Eclipse/Chiron conjunction will be very close to the return of the USA’s natal Chiron at 20°Aries 08’, as well as, within an acceptable orb opposing the USA’s natal Saturn at 14°Libra 48’. The South Node is also in a tight conjunction to the USA’s natal Saturn and I said a week ago, “With the South Node in Libra tightly conjoining the nation’s natal Saturn, there could be a releasing of old ideas, outmoded buildings and structures…” this definitely would count as a “releasing” of a “structure!”
Going back to the Solar Eclipse, I wonder if this Solar Eclipse in Aries will activate a vulnerable area for the United States that needs “healing” as Chiron is an asteroid known for his incredible healing abilities, knowledge, and wisdom, the irony being that in the mythology he is shot by a poison arrow, but he cannot die because he is immortal and it is a wound he is unable to heal himself from—in the end, a deal is struck with Zeus to remove Chiron’s immortality allowing him to die as a sacrifice to save Prometheus from his eternal damnation for stealing fire and giving it to mankind (he was sentenced to an eternity chained to a rock where an eagle would peck out his liver every day). So, Chiron represents an eternal wound within our psyches that needs acceptance and healing. It’s an area where we may feel triggered or vulnerable because we’ve sacrificed something. (I discuss the Myth of Chiron even further in last year’s post titled My Heart Will Go On: Jupiter Conjunct Chiron In Aries where I discuss the myth of Chiron and the symbolism with the film Titanic.)
In the case of the USA, this could be acknowledging that our infrastructure, is a place where the country may be vulnerable. Is it possible to reinforce something like a bridge to withstand a freak accident like this? I don’t know, I’m not an engineer, but it sure would be nice to think so.
I discussed the USA’s Chiron return and also Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in last week’s post as well and said:
“On the opposite side of the chart in Aries, we see the United State’s natal Chiron return is happening, indicating a period of vulnerability and increased desire to fight for freedom, individuality, and self-sufficiency. Mercury in Aries is about to conjoin the USA’s natal Chiron and retrograde back over it in April, which could mean news or reports about these sentiments and a re-thinking of the nation’s position on things.
The Jupiter and Uranus conjunction will be happening in the USA’s natal 6th house of the workforce and public health.
Jupiter is expansive and passionate in Taurus and although the conjunction to Uranus could represent upheaval and disruption, it could also indicate great hope, redemption, and a positive revolution to the workforces and public health systems, bringing aid, relief, and blessings.
The United States birth chart is a diurnal chart, or a day chart, and thus Mars is the malefic most likely to cause the most issues. Natally Mars is in the 7th house of legal matters, open enemies, and relationships, and in Mundane astrology: war. This makes sense. So, transiting Mars is conjunct the USA’s natal Moon (the people, crowds, water, land, crops, and women and children) in the third house of communication, and local transportation by car, bus, or bicycle. This could mean some pretty intense things for the country that involve struggle, strife, and conflicts concerning the nation’s communication structures, transportation structures, and common people.”
I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter!
