New Website and Logo!

Quick update November 24, 2024

Good morning, friends!

Well, I’ve officially launched AstroMommy.com (I previously had a free GoDaddy site), and I’ve updated my logo!

The new logo features a beautiful drawing that my daughter, Kaliandra, drew for the cover of my tarot journal (submitted for publishing last night, still waiting for approval from Amazon, *crossing my fingers that Mercury retrograde won’t make it take too long, but it is what it is, LOL).

This drawing is especially special to me, not only because my daughter drew it, but because it is a picture of me as The Hermit in the tarot. My life card is IX The Hermit and The Hermit is “The Way-Shower” or “The Lantern-Bearer” who lifts his lantern to light the way for those who need his guidance.

The tag-line for my astrology business, AstroMommy, is Your Guiding Light in the Dark, and this comes from this life card and its meaning.

I start out each newsletter saying, “You’re reading the AstroMommy horoscope,  a forecast that hopes to shine a light in the dark, helping us all see where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going,” because it is my belief that this is my path, my destiny, to hold the lantern of light and help guide people on the path. I used to doubt this mission, but it has become increasingly clearer as I age that this is one of my purposes (the other being to birth, raise, and teach beautiful babies, LOL, of which I have five if you’re new here).

So, I am coming to the end of this birthday year—my Solar Return is tomorrow, birthday on Tuesday, and this last year has been a “Ninth House Profection Year,” which I find interesting because the Ninth House has to do with publishing and I have started publishing books! Pluto has also just entered my ninth house of Aquarius and entered into a sextile to my natal Sun in Sagittarius, hopefully bringing in a massive transformation that will be positive.

My Solar Return tomorrow starts a new year, and numerologically, this year is a number 9, which is my Life Path number! Thus, this next year is an IX Hermit year. So, it seems very auspicious to publish this tarot journal with this artwork on the cover and to update my logo and website to reflect this sentiment as well, in honor of my Life Path card, The Hermit.

My Solar Return tomorrow also starts a new Annual Profection Year in the Tenth House of career, public recognition, and praxis, governed in my chart by the prosperous and lucky planet Jupiter, who is also the Almuten of my chart, AND Jupiter is currently forming a benefic trine from my first house of self to my midheaven in Aquarius, which is in the 9th house of publishing—all this fancy astrology stuff to say, it could be a very lucky year!
