Good Morning, friends!
Today, I’d like to take a moment to celebrate…because it’s Sagittarius Season, baby! Yee Haw! Yes, I know I am biased by being a Sagittarius, but I LOVE this time of year. I love the fall leaves. I love the warm and cozy sweaters and hot cups of coffee or tea. I love curling up on the couch to watch the Holiday Baking shows and Friends re-runs with my kids. I love Thanksgiving, and I love Christmas music; yes, I said it: I am a cheesy-Christmas-Caroling fool this time of year, and if I’m honest, I sing a few carols throughout the year, probably on a monthly basis (Walking in A Winter Wonderland, is my all-time favorite and I used to sing it to my kids at bedtime, LOL).
Today, the Sun moves into Sagittarius and makes a harmonious sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, which is awesome. I think if you are a Sagittarius or have a strong placement at 00° of Sagittarius, you may feel yourself get a bit lighter, brighter, and more hopeful today.
I was going to write or film Pluto in Aquarius horoscopes, but I do not think I am going to do that just yet…Instead, I have been watching some on YouTube, and I’d like to share with you my favorite one so far, which is by one of my favorite astrologers, Christopher Renstrom. His breakdown of Pluto in Aquarius and subsequent horoscopes for all 12 signs brought tears of joy to my eyes, and everyone in my family who listened to their horoscope resonated deeply with what he said. So, I am not going to pretend I know, or have the experience, to write or record anything better, I am just going to share this video with you all below:

THURSDAY, November 21, 2024
3:56 pm ET: Sun Enters Sagittarius
The Sun will be in the sign of Sagittarius from November 21, 2024, through December 20, 2024.
This is a wonderful time of the year to broaden your horizons, take aim at your goals, and shoot your arrows! Perk up a bit because faith, hope, and optimism are the hallmarks of this sign and season of the year. Sagittarians are also truth seekers with a lot of intuition, creativity, and joviality thanks to their ruling planet, Jupiter, so enjoy the abundance, wisdom, and joyousness that these natives bring. A lighter, brighter time, even as the days get darker.
4:49 pm ET: Sun in Sagittarius Sextile (60°) Pluto in Aquarius
This represents powerful opportunities that will come from deep within you. It’s your job to trust the divine messages, the intuitive hits, the people, places, and omens that cross your path this week and recognize them as the spark of inspiration that they are meant to be. The next 20 years, while Pluto in Aquarius keeps making a sextile to this sign, are going to be like a deep fire burning within, opening all of our belief centers to the hidden truths of our spirituality, our connections to our own inner wisdom and inner light. Take note and jot down in your journal anything that happens this week that feels coincidental or auspicious so that you can look back on it later to understand its full meaning for you.

7:55 am ET: Venus in Capricorn Sextile (60°) Saturn in Pisces
This is a great transit for stability, feeling loyal to something or someone, and acting with good judgment. It’s a good time for business agreements and commitments to things you love and those you love. It could also be a time when money that previously had a hold placed on it gets released and flows to you, or you have the opportunity to accept it into your life!
At 8:27 pm ET: Third Quarter Moon at 1°Virgo 14'
A time to take what you have accomplished this month and turn it into new and improved things. Use your resources wisely and enjoy all the creative energy!

MONDAY, November 25, 2024,
10:42 pm ET: Mercury Stations Retrograde
Mercury will turn retrograde at 22°Sagittarius 40’ on November 25, 2024, and then station direct on December 15, 2024, at 06°Sagittarius 23’, so he will be retrograde for almost the entire Sagittarius season.
This is really interesting given the fact that Jupiter, the planet that rules Sagittarius, is also retrograde and in Mercury’s sign of Gemini, so there is a mutual reception going on and two oppositions between the two planets happening. We just had the first opposition between Mercury and Jupiter on November 18, 2024, three days ago, and the second opposition will be on December 26, 2024, two days after Jupiter squares Saturn (the second square in the current Jupiter/Saturn cycle), so whatever you are going to be revisiting during this Mercury retrograde will also tie into what the Jupiter square Saturn cycle is for you.
Remember, Jupiter squared Saturn in mid-August 2024, so think back to what changed in August for clues as to what this is all about for you.
I know that for me, in August, I was contemplating making some much-needed changes to my Newsletter, astrology services, and how I am presenting the astrology, and I was asked to start doing the audio-read-aloud again, and so I did, and then that morphed into YouTube videos, and now I am going back over everything I have been doing thus far and mapping out the future of AstroMommy and what I can and cannot create, produce, and commit to, so this Mercury retrograde will most likely manifest as me taking the time off that I need, to figure all of this out, which I already told you all I was doing!

My birthday!
I’m turning 45, which adds up to a 9, and is my lucky number because it is my Life Number, and corresponds with IX The Hermit card in the Tarot. My actual numerology year is ALSO a NINE! So, I think this will be a really transformative year ahead for me; one where I am seeking the truth, but also coming to the end of a cycle. Pluto is also in the 10th house of my Solar Return, so “transformation” regarding how I put myself out in the world and what I do every day will for sure take place.
Anyway, enough about me…back to the weekly overview.

4:06 am ET: Sun in Sagittarius Trine (90°) Mars in Leo
This transit may bring in a lot of energy, which will be nice since Mars is moving kinda slow, and we could have been feeling a lot of sluggishness. Creating things from the heart, taking action on things that move you in a spiritual way, or feeling in alignment with your long-term goals and aspirations may be possible. A lot of energy will be available, which is nice if you are in America and celebrating Thanksgiving—you will need a lot of energy to cook or travel or whatever you are doing the day before the holiday, LOL!

12:58 am ET: Venus in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries retrograde
This transit could flavor the day with a little get-it-done, business-type attitude like you don’t have time for any sort of victim mentality. It could be hard to ignore your feelings if you have hard stuff that comes up. It really depends on what the Moon is doing on this day…Maybe I will do a separate Thanksgiving Day horoscope so we can take a deeper look at the whole picture, but for now, just know that there could be some relationship stuff or money stuff that comes up.

1:21 am ET: NEW MOON 09°SAG 32’
It is a time for new beginnings that are hopeful, inspired, and truth-seeking.

Summary
So, this week looks hopeful. With the Sun entering Sagittarius today and perfecting the sextile to Pluto, there could be a lot of inspiring and hopeful feelings that get ignited. Then, tomorrow’s Third Quarter Moon in Virgo may be about getting down to the nitty-gritty, getting our hands dirty, and mapping out what we are trying to create and make for ourselves. Virgo energy likes to look at the details and all the micro-cogs that are keeping everything going, so let’s appreciate the fine details and the changes that are occurring while also staying positive and optimistic with the Sagittarius Sun energy. We can have a bird’s-eye view of things and also get down in there with a microscope and use the Venus sextile Saturn energy to support our efforts by committing ourselves to the Universal truths such as beauty, love, and harmony.
Next week, Mercury stations retrograde, and we have a New Moon in Sagittarius building up so we will be revising, re-thinking, and possibly re-wording what we believe in, what we feel drawn to, and what is inspiring us. With the Balsamic phase of the Moon in Scorpio happening on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of next week, we could be letting go of some really deep attachments we had to things in our lives. This shed is necessary for the new world that is starting right now with Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, now in Aquarius for the next 20 years—this letting go process may feel really visceral next week, so be kind to yourself and others—we are entering a whole new era, and it can be scary, exciting, and everything in between, so let’s hold hands as we jump into this unknown together!
