This will be an interesting morning, day, and night…
This morning, the Moon in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus and then proceed to square the North and South Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio.
This could feel like a sudden change to your environment. It could feel good and bring an emotional release, or it could feel uncomfortable, like someone turning on the blinding light beside your bed in the middle of the night to wake you up.
Because Uranus is so close to the North Node right now this could be a sudden encounter with a group that liberates you in some way, inspiring you to step out of your comfort zone and experience something new.
By early evening on the East Coast, the Moon will meet up with Saturn at 23 degrees. When Saturn and the Moon get together we may feel lonely, isolated, unsupported, and need to take stock of our resources. The theme this week, as I mentioned in the 5-day forecast, is resources. Today things get serious. Do you have enough: time, energy, and money, to accomplish your goals?
Venus in Gemini is making a quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn at the same time that the Moon is conjoining Saturn at 6:14 PM ET. This represents some forward movement, but it’s disorienting forward movement. We’ve decided what to do, we’ve analyzed all the facts, and we know how we want to proceed, but there’s some change that is abrupt, stops the show, mid-scene, and now we are doing a totally different play!
The Moon will finish the evening with a nice trine to Venus in Gemini. Thank goodness! Beneficial Venus could bring something into our lives that we’ve been waiting for, and after such a hard day with all the heavy Saturn energy, this will be very welcome!
Imagine having this dream:
In your dream, you are a stage actor in a theatre production. You are so excited because you have landed a part in your favorite play! The opportunity came suddenly, seemingly out of the blue, but it’s what you’ve always wanted to do and it felt destined, so you made the commitment.
You arrive at the theatre on opening night to find that you are the only actor, no one else has shown up! The house is packed! There are so many people there to watch this play that they have to stand in the aisles! The show must go on and you have to perform the whole thing and all the parts by yourself! Where is everyone? Why didn’t they show up? Why are you all alone? You look around backstage, taking stock of all the props and costumes to see if you have everything that you need. Your heart is pounding because you’re so nervous.
Suddenly the other cast members show up! “Oh, thank goodness!” you think to yourself. You are so relieved that there are people to help you with the performance. But then they tell you that they have decided to put on a different play and, shoving a rolled-up script in your hands, they say, “memorize this, we’re starting in five minutes—your lines are highlighted.” “What?!” you exclaim., but it’s no use, the crowd is waiting and you’re going to have to play a whole new character, in a brand new play and that’s that, period. The pressure is immense as you unroll the script, searching for the highlighted text…
Suddenly, you wake up and a feeling of intense relief washes over you as you realize that you are not about to go out on stage and bumble through a theatrical production that would’ve been a colossal disaster! You do not have to play a character you’ve never met, and you don’t have to recite lines you’ve never even read—nope, you are cozy, wrapped up in the covers of your own bed! You exhale a big sigh of relief.
Life has been throwing us curve balls all week and today, we’re going to spend most of the day taking stock and making preparations, only for the game to change from baseball to basketball. Be ready for sudden big changes, and be ready to catch whatever ball life throws at you. By the end of the day, you’ll feel good about your hard work and thankful that you stayed wide open, ready to catch whatever was thrown your way.
The card for the day:
11 La Forza
“La Forza (Fortitude, Strength, Force): Strength, energy, decision, tenacity, capacity to overcome any obstacle or risky undertaking.” (Menegazzi)
In traditional tarot, this is the “Strength” card and represents overcoming obstacles by drawing on our inner strength and power. In most decks, this card is a picture of a woman who has tamed a wild lion, with her beauty and inner strength, not force. By using our ancestral gifts, creativity, and strength of character, we can tame any beast from within or without.
Interesting that in this deck, this card is represented by an armored boot, probably for a Knight, someone tasked with guarding the castle. Intuitively, I feel like this may be a time to guard yourself, with some emotional armor. I don’t mean to shut down emotionally, but be protective of your vulnerable spots. The castle must be guarded for the survival of the inhabitants in times of war, and it may very well feel like we are at war with ourselves or our circumstances right now.
I just heard Captain Kirk say, “Shields up, Mr. Sulu!” in my head!
With the Moon in Aquarius heading towards Saturn, there will be a natural inclination for isolation and detachment from emotions. This may be the right time to be more detached and more guarded. Normally, I’m all about working through emotional stuff and letting it all out, but this energy feels like it would be wiser, for our own protection, to be more guarded and less emotionally attached to things today. The energy may move very quickly and changes could happen very fast with the Moon squaring the Nodes today.
Even in a baseball game, the catcher wears a face shield. So, protect yourself from flying balls!
I hope this horoscope and tarot reading are helpful!
