Good morning, friends!

Today, we have the Virgo Sun approaching its conjunction to the South Node in the afternoon (3:19 pm ET). The South Node represents release, endings, and karmic completion—so this transit may feel like a shedding of old skin, or a recognition of what no longer fits your life.

Also, as I mentioned yesterday, this transit could result in feeling like you have less energy to deal with the details, or maybe there’s a bit more stress and worry that is in the air, which could feel draining. So, if you are feeling any of these things, know that this transit is a relatively quick one, and the energy will lighten soon, but the themes do carry weight and meaning that may stretch out across the next six months.

Today’s astrology emphasizes a release, surrender, or acceptance of your truth.

The tarot’s guidance is to celebrate the mini-wins, no matter how small, in your current journey.

Okay, let’s get into...the astrology

(all times are in Eastern time unless mentioned otherwise)

Today may have a bumpy start. There could be things that are triggering you or situations that are annoying and aggravating, but the theme of today is release, surrender, and acceptance. There may be a lot of truths that you are realizing, but the biggest truth may be that you have to just let go of your attachment to the outcome so you can move forward.

In the late afternoon, the Moon leaves fiery Aries and enters earthy Taurus, encouraging us to plant our feet and focus on cultivating the present moment rather than pushing forward. Passions may rise, and we could have some miscommunications, dropped calls, or travel delays, and by the evening, things could feel touchy, emotional, and intense.

If you’ve mentally accepted something in your life that you have to surrender to or let go of because it’s run its course, outlived its usefulness, or done its job, it’s possible that your emotional self has not accepted this fate and is still holding on to an outdated reality.

This scenario reminds me of when you plant a cover crop in your garden to nourish the soil, and the time has come to rip it out and make room for the next planting. Your mind could be made up, the crop has served its purpose, and it’s time to change the plants out, but maybe your heart isn’t ready, and emotionally, you still feel invested in the cover crop and are having a hard time with the transition. Something like that could be going on, and it’s okay. Transitions are hard, especially for Taurus Moon, so just be easy with yourself and allow yourself the space and grace to process the whole thing.
