Walking on the Wild Side This Weekend with the Uranus and Venus Conjunction in Taurus-Sun Sign Horoscopes

Weekend Horoscope for Saturday and Sunday, June 11-12, 2022

Well, the BIG event that we’ve been leading up to this week is the conjunction of Uranus and Venus in Taurus, happening at 6:57 pm Eastern time tonight!  This conjunction could bring out the wild side of your nature or a sense of wanting to break free from your normal way of relating.  It could also signify a surprise interruption to your normal way of connecting: socially, intimately, or with yourself in some way.

Today we are going to go over the horoscope for this transit for each Sun sign and figure out where in your life you may feel this energy.  Because Sun sign astrology is based on the whole-sign house placement in your chart, reading the horoscope for your rising sign will be most accurate.

First, let me just say a few words about each of these two planets individually, and then we can talk about them together in the conjunction.

Venus is the planet of love, relationships, values, your senses, and also your finances.  She represents the feminine animus within us all and everything beautiful, fragrant, attractive, pleasant, soft, and cuddly.  She can also embody a woman in your life or a woman coming into or going out of your life. 

Some material things that symbolize Venus-type qualities are flowers, chocolate, make-up and perfume, decorations, art, music, fun, marriage, treaties, jewelry, and anything that is meant to make something or someone look more attractive.

Uranus is the planet of surprise, interruption, disruption, freedom, revolution, and change.  Uranus represents the part of ourselves that seeks independence.  It can also embody someone or something that is unconventional, chaotic, eccentric, or rebellious in nature.  It usually brings about change of some sort, but it is very hard to predict exactly what this change will be and the nature of this change…the only thing we know for certain is that there will be change.  

Some material things that symbolize Uranus-type energy are electricity, earthquakes, a sudden storm, unusual or eccentric items, the internet of things, computers and technology, innovative ideas, innovative technologies, changes to our socializing patterns, changes to our relationships, and changes to our financial situations.

These two planets together, simply, will bring about a sudden change in how we relate to love, our relationships, the things we value, and our resources. 

With Uranus in the earthy sign of Taurus, nothing is stable right now.  It seems like all the foundations of the world are on shaky ground and with Venus joining up with Uranus here, it’s like, now it’s going to get personal.  Venus is a personal planet that affects us in individual ways, whereas Uranus is said to be a social outer planet that seems to affect the collective, but when Uranus is having a dynamic transit like this, we will usually feel it in our personal lives.

So, let’s dive in:

Aries

This transit is happening in your second house of money and resources, as well as your sense of self-worth and self-confidence.  So, you may experience a sudden change in your financial situation or an abrupt modification in how you value your resources in some way.  Your ability to manifest these things in your life will come to light in a hasty and unexpected way.  Your self-esteem may be tested, or your self-esteem may receive a boost in power!  You may feel like you are swiftly given the resources to manifest the things in life that you value.

When the Moon in Scorpio opposes this transit tonight in your eighth house of irrevocable change, other people’s resources, and how you rely on others, you may feel like contemplating the deeper meaning behind whatever is going on for you around the topics of love, relationships, and money and your ability to manifest these things in life or trust others that you may depend on for these things. 

Taurus

This transit is happening in your first house of identity, appearance, your personality, and the “mask” you wear.  This could manifest as a sudden inspiration to change your appearance in some way, cut or dye your hair, go on a shopping spree and completely overhaul your wardrobe, or maybe you just feel more wild and free this weekend and you want to behave a little different and do something that is a little out of your comfort zone, whatever that may be. 

When the Moon in Scorpio opposes this conjunction tonight in your seventh house of relationships, intimacy, and commitment you may feel the need to take a deeper look into your motivations for why you are feeling this way and what it all signifies for you personally.  With Uranus in your first house this year, you have already been feeling a rebellious, revolutionary feeling about who you are, and becoming more authentic in your expression of yourself.  This transit will just give this energy a boost, and hopefully a nice one!  You may feel more attractive, more sensual, and more confident.

Gemini

This transit is occurring in your twelfth house of troubles, spiritual release, hidden enemies, institutions such as hospitals and psych wards, and also ‘your undoing.’  This could be an intense transit for you because it signifies a quick reality check, something that was hidden or churning under the radar will now be known and you’ll become aware of it.  This could be good or it could feel very uncomfortable—it could be something that you intuitively knew was there but now comes to light and breaks free from the darkness of your subconscious!  Like a bolt of lightning shooting out of the cloud in the storm you knew was brewing, you just didn’t know when or where the lightning would strike.

With the Moon in Scorpio tonight opposing this transit in your sixth house of servitude, duties, daily routines, health, and skills; you could feel like you need to take the experience apart, dissect the event, and the feelings that are coming up—really diving deep into them to figure them all out—looking at all the little details.  Try to avoid conflict and trust your intuition while you’re deep diving.

Cancer

This transit is happening in your eleventh house of friends, goals, allies, hopes and dreams, strategies, and groups/networks that you are part of.  You could get a sudden inspiration to join a group or reach out to female friends in your life, the more eccentric and independent ones the better!  You may quickly have the need to set innovative and creative goals for yourself.  Or maybe feminine energy comes into your life through a group or a network that sparks a connection or innervates a dead hope or dream that you had and you now feel like it is alive within yourself again! 

This could also be a time of wild and free socializing, feeling the desire to hang out with a group of friends to be a part of something bigger than yourself.  Or maybe you spontaneously join a group or organization that has a social cause that you feel drawn to that supports your own rebellious, revolutionary instincts.

With the Moon in Scorpio opposing this transit in your fifth house of children, family, recreation, and play, you may feel the need to take a deep dive into your motivations for why you’re experiencing these feelings—you may feel a sense of wanting immediate gratification by associating with a social group or organization that directly opposes your sense of family in some way and this could be very hard to balance.  This could create some tension as you try to figure it all out.  Whatever is going to happen for you, Cancer, expect it to create some turmoil in your family life, and try to plan accordingly.

Leo

This transit is happening in your tenth house of career, your profession, or your reputation, so you may feel a sudden and unexpected boost in these areas.  You may feel more attractive or seductive to those in your community.  Or this could be a swift change to your status or reputation, an unexpected job change, or a career change.  Maybe you finally feel like you can break free from a career that isn’t serving you anymore or a new career falls in your lap that feels like it truly aligns with your authentic self.  This could also be like a revolutionary, or rebellious nature coming out in regards to how you put yourself out in the public domain.  Or a feminine influence may come into your work life or leave your work life and this could stir feelings within, affecting you in some way.

Pisces

This transit is happening in your third house of communication, siblings, local travel or short trips, and all types of information exchange.  You may receive a letter, an email, or a phone call that brings about a sudden unexpected change in your life.  A woman or feminine influence could start to talk to you or communicate with you in some way or maybe you lose communication or connection with someone at this time.  Either way, you will receive a message of some sort that will bring about disruption, and a switch in direction, course correction, or an unexpected short journey will be required of you. 

With the Moon in Scorpio in the ninth house of higher education, long-distant journeys, foreign entities, and belief systems, you could feel some type of way about this unexpected information coming into your life.  Maybe it disrupts a long trip you had planned and now you have to stay in town instead.  You will have to deal with and process all the emotions surrounding it all and it may be uncomfortable or it could feel really good to let it all out and talk about it.  On the flip side, you may feel like you want to hide from the feelings—it would be wise to let them out in your journal, or in some way that you feel comfortable doing so—so that they don’t fester.
