You Know the Moon is in Libra When You Dream About Your Ex!
Daily Horoscope for Wednesday, July 6, 2022
What a weird night! I dreamed about my first astrology teacher and my ex-boyfriend…
No, not together—there were two dreams. That would’ve been really wild if they had been in the same dream!
The first was in the middle of the night. I dreamed that I was on a bus and my astrology teacher was talking to me, with his shirt off. He was standing up, wearing jeans and boots. Behind him was his old assistant, in a white flowy shirt, like a Renaissance shirt. I noticed that he had large red and black ants crawling on his shirt and that one went across his collar bone and under his shirt! I said, “you have ants all over you!” He shrugged it off, like it was no big deal.
Then my astrology teacher leaned over a bit to do something and down the bus I saw a friend of mine, whose name I will leave out for privacy’s sake, googling over him, practically drooling. She was standing up, and kneeling down next to her, was her ex-husband. She was stroking and twisting his hair. I had several thoughts about this…then I woke up needing to go to the bathroom.
When I went back to sleep, I had the second dream…
I was traveling somewhere, in what seemed to be maybe a train car? Not exactly sure, because I don’t remember actually seeing the vehicle that carried us, but my ex-boyfriend and I were sitting on fake leather benches, facing each other, as the locomotive carried us to our destination. He was acting like we were together, touching my hand lovingly, but I felt like I was just dropped into that dimension with no memory of how I got there, but all the memories of my current life--being married to my husband with five children—I was going to tell my ex that I was still married and that this behavior was really weirding me out and then he leaned over, put his head in my lap and started sobbing! I didn’t know what to do, so I rubbed his back and gave him a squeeze, trying to comfort him, but I knew in my gut that I didn’t want to be there. I was trying to figure out how to tell him, when I woke up.
Any dream interpreters out there? Wanna take a crack as to why I dreamed about these things? Feel free to make a comment or two, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Just be nice, I’m very sensitive!
Now, my husband is my editor, so these two dreams will definitely start some conversations, LOL! But, I thought they were fitting since the Moon has now, moved into the relationship sign of Libra.
So, of course, I would dream about relationships! But, what do the ants mean? Anyway…
The biggest thing today is that the Moon in Libra will be making a square to the Sun in Cancer, whilst making an opposition to Chiron in Aries—forming, what is called a T-square, in Astrology. This is also the Moon’s first quarter phase. So, let’s unpack this, shall we?
When the Moon is in Libra you start to feel like creating balance and harmony are the goals, instead of being industrious like you felt with the Moon in Virgo. Yesterday, I was so productive! I wrote the morning newsletter, made 8 new cup designs for my shop, made all the meals for my family, including homemade pesto sauce from the garden, and a book literally started writing itself! I was on fire and unstoppable! Today, though, it’s about finding balance in our relationships, creating harmony and flow, socializing, and communicating with people.
The Sun, about halfway through Cancer now, is still focusing on home and family, roots and foundations. This whole season marks a time when we want to nurture our home environment and make it a safe and comfortable place. Getting our homes ready to entertain guests when the Sun moves into Leo, by July 23, 2022.

Chiron is an asteroid and has an interesting story…
In Greek mythology, Chiron is a son of the Titan Cronos (later, Saturn) and Philyra, a water nymph (Wikipedia-Chiron). He was unlike other centaurs, in that he was less bestial and more civilized. In some of the earlier Greek writings and artwork, he has human forelegs instead of horse legs, but in later Roman depictions, all four legs are equine.
He was “known for his knowledge and skill with medicine, and thus was credited with the discovery of botany and pharmacy, the science of herbs and medicine” (Wikipedia-Chiron). He was cast out by his father and mother and so he was raised by Apollo and Artemis. He educated Achilles.
He is thought of as the wounded healer in astrology because of his death.
“His nobility is further reflected in the story of his death, as Prometheus sacrificed his life, allowing mankind to obtain the use of fire. As the son of Cronus he was immortal, so it was left to Heracles to arrange a bargain with Zeus to exchange Chiron's immortality for the life of Prometheus, who had been chained to a rock and left to die for his transgressions” (Wikipedia-Chiron).
He was struck down with a poison arrow, and after nine days of trying to heal himself with herbs, he died and became a constellation of stars.
The asteroid 2060 Chiron, has an interesting story as well…
2060 Chiron orbits between Saturn and Uranus. Not a planet, but a small solar system body, called a centaur in planetary astronomy (Wikipedia-Centaur (small solar system body)).
“Although it was initially called an asteroid and classified only as a minor planet with the designation "2060 Chiron", in 1989 it was found to exhibit behavior typical of a comet. Today it is classified as both a minor planet and a comet, and is accordingly also known by the cometary designation 95P/Chiron. Chiron is named after the centaur Chiron in Greek mythology.” (Wikipedia-2060 Chiron)
In astrology, the symbol for Chiron is a key and is said to be the key to healing our deepest wounds in this lifetime.
So, we have the Moon in Libra, square the Sun in Cancer, and opposing Chiron in Aries. Chiron in Aries is all about identifying and healing the wounds to our identity, our independence, and our sense of self. It may even mean healing something physical, and being in Aries, this would relate to the head. Healing something in the head, either literally or figuratively.
Cancer rules the rib cage, Libra rules the kidneys, and Aries rules the head—I am not a trained medical astrologer yet, but I am very interested in this branch of astrology!—Therefore, these are some interesting tidbits to keep in mind this week.
This T-square could bring up stuff about relationships, love, money, your home environment, and your health and wellness: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This week has a lot of that.
Let’s pick a card for today:
Five of Cups—Reversed
Wow, the first reversed card in a while!
This card, upright, represents disappointment. Three out of the five cups have been knocked over and the contents have spilled out. The young man on this card is hiding his face and drawing his arms and legs into a protective, yet deeply hurt posture. There are still two cups behind him, full; he didn’t lose everything— yet, he is still mourning the loss of the other three.
Here it is, in the upright position for comparison:
Reversed, this card means to let go of disappointment and practice forgiveness and acceptance. You may feel nostalgic for times past. You may be worried about disappointment or failure. Cups represent emotions and trusting our intuition, so we have to allow ourselves to move through what we are feeling. We don’t have to repeat past patterns, we can do things differently going forward.
I feel this card is a reminder that you have the free will to choose a different path than the one you’ve previously chosen. Through awareness of our fate, we are given agency to cast new trajectories. If failure has happened in the past, it does not mean failure is your only future. But, as Einstein said:
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed the little Greek Mythology lesson! I obviously just did a quick search on Wikipedia for this, but there are many great websites out there that talk about the asteroid Chiron. I have included a few websites below if you’d like to take a deep dive into this.
Until tomorrow,

Today’s astrology was brought to you by: the Moon in Libra, square the Sun in Cancer, and opposite the asteroid, Chiron, making a T-Square.
