Weekend Forecast for Saturday and Sunday, July 9-10, 2022
Welcome to the AstroMommy Newsletter, a daily horoscope that hopes to shine a light in the dark. The AstroMommy Newsletter is a reader-supported publication, which means it only exists thanks to the generous support of lovely people just like you. The two best ways you can support my work are to share this newsletter with a friend and to consider upgrading to a paid subscription. Whether you’re a first-time reader or a long-time subscriber, thanks for being here! I hope you enjoy reading the daily horoscope and tarot reading. Blessings!
I have two YouTube channels. One on Astrology, that I just started and one that I started in 2017 that has a few videos on many different subjects: homeschooling, essential oils, decluttering, morning routines, etc…but the one video that has grossed over 71K views, has been a very short hair braiding video that I made titled, How to Braid Your Own Hair.
I did not think that this video would get any views! The reason I made this video was to practice my voice-over skills. Fast forward five years later and it is the most popular video on my channel! What the heck?! I wonder what transits were happening during the making of that video?
Recently, I have decided to start making a few more hair videos to serve my fans there, in hopes that I can eventually monetize that channel and make it a mostly passive income stream, one of the “roads” that lead to Rome for me. It’s worth a shot and it won’t hurt anything to add to it. What’s even crazier is how this channel has been growing every month without me doing a single thing to it! It is on a trajectory that was set years ago. Left on its own, it may hit the required 1,000 subscribers needed to earn commissions in about two years. My hope, by adding to it, is to speed up that process a little bit.
Now, why am I sharing this? It’s not to toot any horns— quite the opposite. I feel that this weekend’s transits may bring something into your life or inspire something to come out of your imagination in some way that could benefit your dreams and goals in the long run in ways that you can’t imagine possible right now…
The three main transits that are most important this weekend are: Saturday, Mercury squares Jupiter and also makes a sesquiquadrate to Saturn; Sunday, the Sun will sextile Uranus. Also, the Moon moves out of Scorpio into Sagittarius on Sunday.
Mercury in Cancer will be making a square to Jupiter in Aries on Saturday and then a sesquiquadrate to Saturn in Aquarius by the afternoon.
This type of dynamic is like: you’ve found the best job, and they like you and want to hire you, but it’s not going to start for a few weeks. So, you’re excited, but also a bit bummed that you have to wait for it to manifest into a reality. This could make you emotionally frustrated, and with the Moon in Scorpio Saturday, kinda moody about things not going as fast as you’d like them to go. Nevertheless, you have paperwork to fill out for the job, so you get it done. Now the ball is in their court.
Or, it’s like this scenario: You’re studying a new subject and you’re really excited and enjoying your new classes, but you’ve hit a snag while making your flashcards, and ran out of glue—so you have to go to the store to buy some, but the store is out of glue sticks, too! You give in and order them online. Meanwhile, you neglect your studies until the glue arrives.
On Sunday, the Moon moves into adventurous, spontaneous, and philosophical Sagittarius. The Sun in Cancer makes a sextile to Uranus in Taurus.
You really want things in your life to feel comfortable right now, especially in your physical world, but you keep feeling like you have to take risks and step out of your comfort zone to make any progress. You have a wild idea, it’s quirky, unusual, and out of the box! You have to decide whether you’re going to do it or not. With the Moon in Sagittarius, if it feels adventurous, chances are you’ll take the risk. With the Moon making a trine to Jupiter in the early morning on Sunday, you’ll probably feel energized and excited about whatever it is you’ve thought of.
I think it’s safe to say that Sunday will be a much more positive day than Saturday, not to say that Saturday will suck, necessarily, but Sunday feels like it could be a really great day!
The card for the weekend is:
Don’t Worry, You Can Do No Wrong
This deck is so wild and out there, that I would like to share with you the interpretation from the little book that is included with the deck:
“In the context of a reading, this card often means that you cannot fail in your present situation. Whatever you decide to do will benefit the project you have in mind. The present confusion is part of a divine plan.”
Look at this card! The man is truly getting a haircut from the Universe and only the Universe can see the finished vision!
This card reminds me of the Sun sextile Uranus on Sunday—an unusual idea, popping into your mind! Like a wild, edgy haircut! Or a bird flying upside down, doing something completely out of its normal behavior.
Whatever you decide to do this weekend, know that the Universe has your back and is in support of you. This is an investment in your future that only the Universe can see. But, whatever wild, eccentric, or unusual thing you decide to do, just know that it will be setting a trajectory that will benefit you down the road…, like my hair-braiding video.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for reading.
