Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good morning, friends!
Alrighty, so today I will be posting two newsletters. The first is this one with a regular daily horoscope and the second will be a special post of my first-ever Aries Ingress Chart delineation. In that post I will be discussing what I think is in store for the United States in the coming year based on the Aries Ingress Chart set for Washington, D.C.
Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
Happy Spring Equinox!
The Spring Equinox is when the Sun makes its annual ingress into Aries which is the point in the zodiac where the ecliptic crosses the celestial equator and we have an equal amount of daylight hours and nighttime hours. It is the first day of Spring and signifies a return to light being dominant over dark. The sunlight starts to increase and our days start to get longer.
Symbolically it is a time of new beginnings and reawakening when everything that went dormant or died over the winter either wakes up or is reborn, heralding in a new year full of life, fertility, and new hope.
The Sun will ingress into Aries at 5:24 pm ET.
We can look at the Aries ingress chart for a country, the chart below is for the United States, for example, and make inferences about how that year will go based on that chart, sort of like a birth chart for the new astrological year for that particular country. Before the Sun changes signs though, there are still many transits that are going to perfect, so let’s talk a little bit about them.
Today the Moon is in Pisces and won’t do much until she forms a semisquare to Pluto in Capricorn at 11:24 am ET, meaning the morning could feel frustrating, and a bit irrational.
A couple of hours after that she will make a sextile to Uranus in Taurus at 1:33 pm ET indicating a surprising opportunity that helps out in some way.
Before the Sun’s ingress into Aries this evening, it forms a sextile to Pluto in Capricorn at 4:12 pm ET, indicating a newfound trust in someone or something that gives you a sense of positive power and control.
Then the Moon will form a semisquare to Venus at 7:23 pm ET—this aspect could be very positive as Venus will conjoin the North Node this morning and therefore is getting a cosmic power-up.
Finally, the Moon will end her evening by beginning her conjunction to Neptune, which will be exact at 4:19 am tomorrow morning.
So, what does all of this Astro-speak mean? Let’s break it down a bit…
The Moon represents our emotions and our bodies and how we nurture ourselves and others and in Pisces, this could be a very emotional place where the mood swings could be very high and very low. With the Moon making contacts with Pluto (transformation and death), Uranus (sudden surprises), Venus (love and relationships), and Neptune (escapism and dreams), all the while Venus is getting her power-up and the Sun is changing signs-- we could have a lot of emotions come up that makes for a very interesting and colorful day.
First, we may feel frustrated, wanting some control over something in our lives that we feel we have no control over, then we may feel like we found a solution and feel elated for a moment, then after that frustrated again as our values and patience is tested once more and finally we may feel like checking out for the rest of the night, watching a movie, drinking a glass of wine, taking a long bath or doing whatever it is that you like to do to escape from the daily grind of the mundane world.

The 3 Medicine Woman card in the Native American Tarot is similar to the Empress card in the traditional tarot and is all about nourishing ourselves and others with our unique gifts. It’s about focusing on the positive and the possible and through that optimism, abundance can flow through you. It’s also a card about nourishing oneself the same way that you would nourish and care for others. So, practice some self-care today that fills up your cup and gives you a power-up.
