Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.

Good morning, friends!

Well, April Fools!  I wish I could say I was kidding about my food stamps, but I was kidding about not writing a weekend forecast for you all!  So, I am depressed, but not too depressed to write! It actually goes with the astrology affecting my chart because Venus and Uranus just had their conjunction in my 12th house forming squares to my midheaven—so, a sudden upheaval in regards to my finances that I wasn’t expecting that will change the course of the trajectory of my destiny…maybe this will actually be good? Like killing the cow

My financial woes aside, the horoscope keeps me going.  In the beginning, writing every day was kind of draining and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to keep it up, but then something shifted throughout the process and it doesn’t feel like a drain anymore, but rather something that seems to recharge and uplift me instead! Hallelujah!

I am not sure why that is, but you know what?  It’s probably in my astrology, LOL!

(Beginning of rant)

Honestly, the biggest downer about writing the horoscope is people who subscribe but then never read a post!  They either open their emails but clearly don’t read them, or they just delete them altogether, not giving the newsletter a chance.  I don’t really mind the people I don’t know who do this, but my friends and family who do this, it’s hard to not get hurt feelings (especially with my Pisces moon!).

(End of rant)

Okay, let’s get into…the astrology

This is a transition weekend becasue the Moon will be in Leo on Saturday and then in Virgo on Sunday.

So, on Saturday, the urge to hang out, relax, and have a good time will be strong.  Especially since the Moon on Saturday will be making a square to Venus in Taurus, right about the time that I sent my April Fools message—this represents wanting the best things, the finest things in your life that bring you joy, pleasure, and “a good harvest” and if you don’t feel like your standards are being met, it’s going to be time to get rid of them!  Out with the old and in with the new, fresh, and exciting—that support having a good time and enjoying life.

By 9:24 am ET on Saturday the Moon in Leo will form a trine with Jupiter in Aries and this has the potential to bring in massive blessings!  The Moon and Jupiter in a harmonious aspect mean good fortune, increased wealth, popularity, and abundance, and is an indication that the morning will be happy, joyful, and plentiful; meeting your emotional needs and bringing you love and support.

Saturday night could be real and lively, for the Moon will perfect a quincunx to Neptune in Pisces indicating that we don’t want to get lost in the illusion or escape into our wine glasses, we want to feel everything, and feel it passionately!

Late Saturday night on the West Coast at 11:02 pm or early Sunday morning on the East coast at 2:02 am, the Moon forms yet another harmonious trine, but this time it’s to Mercury in Aries—bringing great conversations, thoughtfulness, opportunities for travel or networking, and an overall feeling of harmony between thinking and feeling.

On Sunday, the Moon makes her ingress into Virgo at 6:57 am ET, so if you had a good time on Saturday and made the house a bit of a mess, you’ll have the energy to clean things up on Sunday.

I have been rearranging and starting to decorate the parts of my house that I am not planning on painting and it has been a lot of fun!  The Venus in Taurus energy has been really inspiring me to beautify things in my environment so I think Sunday will be full of decluttering, organizing, and probably labeling things, thanks to the Virgo moon energy!

The Moon does make an opposition to Saturn at 12:44 pm ET on Sunday, so this could be a bit of a downer, but hopefully, this just means that you are writing lists and checking things off your to-do lists—like I plan on doing.  The seriousness of Saturn coupled with the Virgo moon energy in a challenging opposition could be used to our advantage by writing out our ideal scenarios but then remembering to be flexible about them! The opposition means that we will either be pulled in two different directions or we will be playing tug-of-war with ourselves about something, so, stay flexible on Sunday. Things may not go according to plan, but things could still go smoothly if we keep this sentiment in mind.

The Moon does form a sextile to Mars in the afternoon at 3:07 pm ET, so this reinforces that sentiment—stay flexible and try to go with the flow and things should work out just fine.

Let’s move on to the three-card spread for the weekend.  This weekend I picked one card for the overall theme of each of these subjects: money, love, and career

From left to right: money, love, and career.

The card representing money is:

Ace of Pentacles

New ventures, new expenses, new expenditures, new ideas about money, new ways of making money, and new money! I think this is a really positive omen that indicates that financially, there are new opportunities on the horizon.

The card representing love is:

upside-down tree lady

On this card we see a woman, pregnant, and growing a tree out of her head—if you are listening to the recording, you need to go and look at this card to fully understand)

My first impression is—Many roots leading to a single receptive figure…looking at love from a different angle…

This image feels like recreating love in your life. Things are upside down and don’t fit a normal picture, but that’s okay. I feel like the woman on this card is about to give birth to herself in a new form.

What do you get from this card?

The card representing career is:

Five of Cups—Charoite

This card is about picking yourself back up after a loss or a change. In the traditional tarot, the Five of Cups1 is an image of a person in a black cloak, looking at three spilled cups on the ground and turning their back on the two cups still upright behind them.  In the distance, there is a bridge and a nice-looking house across from it.

So, this card means to look at what you still have and take it with you over the bridge to a better situation.  Cut your losses and move on from a painful, emotional situation to something better. In terms of career, this could be about leaving a job and getting a new one, or focusing on the positives of your career and taking the things that are working to a new place.

The gemstone Charoite, as it is described in the little book that comes with this deck is a stone that “helps us integrate mental and spiritual development into our daily life and practice it. It teaches us to understand that we are a soul living in a body. This stone brightens the shadows of anxiety, fear, and guilt with the light of perception. As a result, we become more aware of our aims in life.” (Hofman, 1996)2

So, this stone helps us to still see the two full cups that we still have so we can continue on our journeys.
