Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
(All times are in Easter Time (ET) unless mentioned otherwise)
On Friday…
The Moon will be in Aries all day and starts out the day with her opposition to the Sun in Libra, the Full Moon at 06°Aries 00’. This Full Moon is called the Harvest Moon because of the extra light illuminating the fields into the late hours of the evening. It is also the fourth and final SuperMoon of 2023.
Let’s take a look at this Full Moon in Aries chart.
You can see the Sun in the lower left of the Chart in Libra and directly opposite that is the Moon in Aries in the upper right of the chart. Venus is minutes away from perfecting her square to Uranus which will happen during this Full Moon at 1:52 pm. You can see Venus on the left-hand side of the chart, about 9 o’clock, and Uranus at the top of the chart between Noon and the 1 o’clock points. Mercury rises with this chart which was cast for Washington D.C. and may symbolize an announcement of some sort.
The Full Moon is a time of culmination and endings—something coming to its peak and commencement taking place. The growing cycle has reached its height and now we must harvest all the fruit before it falls to the ground. A person gets a promotion and a celebration is held in their honor. A project has been completed and it’s time to celebrate the end of the project and the eventual beginning of the next one. A teenager graduates high school and walks across the stage accepting their diploma, ending their high school career, and setting out on the adventure that follows their accomplishment.
It’s the apex point in the Moon’s cycle where she has been striving to gain light and now has reached the maximum capacity of light and, right after the moment of fullness, she will begin her waning phase once again.
So, over the next two weeks, we will be assessing, integrating, and reassembling all that we’ve learned this month as we prepare for the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 14, 2023. And with Venus’s square to Uranus perfecting on the same day of the Full moon there could be sudden, shocking events that happen in regard to relationships, love, values, and your finances over the next two weeks—and since this is right before the first eclipse in Libra truly beginning the eclipses in the Aries/Libra axis, it could be a wild ride or a daring adventure! So saddle up, it’s about to get really interesting!
After the Full Moon, the moon then forms a sesquiquadrate to Venus in Leo at 8:22 am indicating there are so many things that the Moon wants to do now that she has reached the peak and yet she has to continue to wait as things fall into place.
Then at 8:39 am, she forms another sesquiquadrate but this time it is to Uranus in Taurus retrograde so there could be some sort of surprise delay or setback or something unexpected that changes the plans in some way. Just this morning, as I am writing this, it is about 8:30 am, and usually, my children are still asleep at this time, one of the perks of homeschooling is allowing them to sleep in while I work, but not today! My youngest woke up about 7:30 and then another, and another…three out of five ain’t bad, but it does change the work environment a bit and there are a lot of interruptions…Moon sesquiquadrate Uranus—a sudden change in the plan and my morning routine that creates a bit of a delay…yep, that’s happening for me! How about you? Were there any differences to your routine this morning? I would love to know!
Moving on to the afternoon, at 1:52 pm Venus in Leo perfects her square to Uranus in Taurus retrograde and this is the final square in this three-part sequence that we’ve been experiencing over the summer and into early fall. The first square from Venus to Uranus was July 2 while Venus was in direct motion, then during her retrograde through Leo, she squared Uranus again on August 9, and then finally, now, she will make the third and final square in this sequence, today, September 29, 2023. Venus square Uranus can bring up sudden and unexpected gifts that can help us feel more regal, independent, and loveable. We could experience creative innovation, new friendships, unexpected romance, or an increase in wealth that comes out of the blue. I am looking forward to the exciting things that this transit brings! Think back to the time surrounding those dates; what was happening? What beneficial surprises came into your life?
At 11:02 pm the Moon forms a semisquare to Saturn in Pisces which means we may be doubting this nice gift that came in and wondering if we are worthy of it. Graciously accept your gift and don’t question your worth. And if you don’t feel like the Venus/Uranus square made any impact on your life, that’s okay, not everyone will have a noticeable event take place. If this is you, feelings of frustration or sadness could creep in that will test your patience and resilience; that’s Saturn speaking…allow your feelings, accept them and forgive them, then let them go. Like a child at a birthday party who gets jealous of the birthday boy or girl receiving presents, this may be a lesson in gratitude. But also remember, the transits may speak during the days leading up to and after the exact transit.
Let’s move on to the card for the day:
What is the guidance for today?
Shaman of Swords
On this card, we see the blue face of The Wind, crowned with yellow spikes, originating from the center of a red flower. The Wind is blowing out a piercing blue gust that swoops around the card. To the right is a ladder with an eagle perched on the top rung.
This card is about combining the feminine Yin energy (the red flower, symbolizing passionate emotions) with masculine Yang energy (thought and intellect expressed by The Wind) together in a strong way. It means to speak the truth from your heart.
I find this passage from the Motherpeace guidebook by Vicki Noble1, very interesting:
“The Shaman of Swords speaks out of necessity. Her words come bursting from her heart and throat. She could be a speaker against war. The blue stream of thought rushing from her mouth represents the voice of the higher mind—words from the source of wisdom. The speaking of this spiritual truth is the means to her ascent. It takes her up the ladder, into free space. She is a symbol of the active “animus” of a woman expressed in action.” (Noble, 1981)
In the upright position, this card symbolizes someone speaking out of necessity and against injustice. The court cards can represent people in our lives or they can represent a situation that embodies the energy of the court card. So, in this case, we have the Shaman of Swords, which could quite literally represent an older man or woman who is a master at communication. Someone who can use their words effectively like a lawyer, a mediator, a diplomat, a skilled doctor at delivering hard news, or even a skilled Astrologer at delineation. Swords can also represent someone of nobility or of very high stature.
As the guidance for the day this card represents using our words to effectively communicate, making sure our intent is the desired effect, and speaking with clarity and precision, but staying flexible and incorporating our intuition when appropriate. Possessing the skills and the know-how to handle and manage any situation.
This card could also represent someone that you may encounter, seek guidance and advice from, or have a conversation with-- or you could be the one whose guidance and advice are sought after!

I hope this is helpful!
