This week has been a trip so far! There have been some unexpected twists in my own life, how about yours? And it seems like people have had to make difficult choices this week. I have heard about a lot of moral dilemmas. Have you had any dilemma’s come up that you are either still chewing on or had to make a hard choice? In Vedic astrology, the Sanskrit word for “Planet” is “Grahas” which means, “grabbers,” representing the feeling of being “seized” by archetypal influences. I would love to know how the Planets have been affecting you and if you have felt “grabbed or seized” by the transits. Please leave a comment.
Today could be, mostly, a chill day. The most notable transit is Venus making a square to Neptune and Mercury making a sextile with the North Node. And let’s not forget that the Moon moved into Aquarius in the middle of the night, after conjoining Pluto in Capricorn— ouch!
Last night could’ve been a little bit edgy or maybe you felt emotionally overwhelmed. Today will feel much better. With the Moon in Aquarius, and over the conjunction with Pluto, we could feel some distance from our emotions and a desire to immerse ourselves and fixate on our hobbies or projects, instead.
The Venus/Neptune square could be a little tricky, so let’s imagine this scenario:
You’re driving on the highway and you come upon a motorcycle accident that happened on the other side, going the other way. You pull over to watch as the paramedics arrive, sirens wailing. Because you’re curious, you take some photos. It’s not every day you witness an accident like this. Upon inspecting the photos, you see a strange shadow floating above one of the State Troopers’ heads! “Could this be real?” you wonder. It appears to show the motorcyclist’s spirit leaving his body. You find out later that the man on the motorcycle did in fact die after arriving at the hospital.
Did your camera actually capture the moment his soul left his physical form?!
This is actually a true story and the photo has been shared thousands of times.

Now, what do you believe to be true?
Do you believe in ghosts, spirits, or souls?
Venus in Gemini wants facts, data, and proof. Neptune in Pisces doesn’t need any hard facts or proof, it only needs gut feelings, intuitive hunches, and spiritual beliefs.
These two planets are at odds today, making a square. Things may come into question today that are no one’s fault and you will be asked to look at the data vs. your beliefs and make a choice. It’s not a great day to make a choice on these types of matters.
We don’t really need to decide today if we believe in ghosts or not—it’s absolutely fine to leave this question unanswered, but Venus in Gemini likes answers, and likes to find the provable truth. We may not be able to find the truth in any scientific sort of way.
So, as I said in the 5-day forecast, go do some art! Oftentimes when there are things our logical mind can’t explain, it is time to tap into the unconscious and surrender to the right side of the brain, the side that deals with creativity, symbolism, and pictures.
Draw or paint your feelings, or go and look at paintings, the ocean, or watch a movie that can take you someplace else for the day.
Avoid making any major decisions today, for our judgment could feel cloudy. Yesterday, we felt more clarity, but today it could feel like the clouds have rolled in. Allow yourself a day off from the drama, the worry, and the need to know why all these things in your life are happening. Be happy and thankful that you are alive, and strive to simply enjoy the beauty around you and stay in the present moment.
In seeking nothing but presence in the moment, answers may reveal themselves.
The card for the day is:
X of Wands—Reversed
(I have put a picture for both the upright and the reversed positions below)
Upright this card represents oppression and holding back your own power. The man in this card is carrying such a heavy load that he feels oppressed by it, literally weighed down by the wands. Yet, he is carrying them himself, which suggests that he is weighing himself down for some reason.
Reversed, this card symbolizes, not weighing yourself down, and not holding yourself back. Drop the load so you can feel light again!
We all have something that we are dealing with that feels heavy, oppressive, and overwhelming. Today is a day to set it aside for a moment. Take a rest. Give your spirit repose from worrying about it today.
Over the next ten weeks or even days, things will change and you will look back on your life and be amazed that you made it through!
There are many ways to carry a big bundle of wands like this. I can think of a couple right off the bat: 1. Carrying fewer wands at a time and making multiple trips, 2. Getting help from others. What solutions can you think of?
With the Moon in Aquarius, joining others in a network or group may be favorable right now. As a good friend of mine said many times, “Many hands make for light work.” I think she was quoting someone else, or a proverb or something, but that little saying has stuck in my head and whenever I am feeling down because I have a big load to carry on my own, I seek out help from others to make it lighter. It’s certainly not easy to ask for help, but sometimes it’s absolutely necessary to get to our destination or accomplish our task.
So, take a rest from your troubles today and ask for help from others so when you pick those wands back up, it’s easier. Wands also represent fire, so fire sign people come to mind: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
I hope this daily horoscope and tarot reading are helpful!

John Heywood
Origin of Many Hands Make Light Work
This English proverb dates all the way back to the 1300s. It initially appeared in a story called Sir Bevis of Hampton and has been included in many collections of proverbs from that point onwards. For example, John Heywood included this proverb in the book of proverbs in the 1500s.
