This English proverb dates all the way back to the 1300s. It initially appeared in a story called Sir Bevis of Hampton and has been included in many collections of proverbs from that point onwards. For example, John Heywood included this proverb in the book of proverbs in the 1500s.
Hard to really say if that was a spirit, or not. The image quality isn't great. Regardless, people stopping to photograph accidents often cause more accidents. I suppose that's one way to discover if its a spirit! As a person whose livelihood depends on people making decisions, often expensive ones, I'll be happy for today to be over, so my clients can make some decisions! ;D

I do believe in ghosts, spirits, and souls and I am in the camp of thinking that the camera did, in fact, capture his spirit leaving his body!
