OK, I took several pictures of the eclipse, AM, and I have to say, it´s not like you could tell. The moon is a bit darker at the bottom, if you look at the shot afterwards, but just look at it, it is an unnoticeable dimming. Somebody called it a pink moon. And it´s NOT pink. Or yellow. It´s more ´bottom of a used ashtray´ colored. So I fiddled with my camera, and then yelled at my camera (a DSLR, BTW) and managed to make it take a pinky moon. Then I went inside, and had the idea to take a bisexual lighting moon picture, but yeah, not really purple. Kinda purple. There was grumbling, muttering, and otherwise instructing the camera to produce some real goddamn purple. 😒

So now I have to pull the pictures and maybe process them but it´s 4:25 in the morning so I am going to bed.

The lunar eclipse of Mar 3rd, 2007. That was a total eclipse, but it probably mostly signified the end of something that had already ended. For me, at any rate. The solar eclipse of Mar 19th was probably more important but not so poweful. I don't remember that much about it.

This one seems pretty minor since the moon will just darken. The solar eclipse is going to be a big one - like the one in 2017.

(FYI, I know everybody repeats the six month rule, but I just read them for the two weeks surrounding.)
