Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.
Good Morning, friends!
Today is the Full Moon in Taurus and Saturn stationing direct. This is a potent combination. So, for today’s post, we are going to take a look at the Full Moon chart and what it is heralding and then we’ll go over mini-horoscopes for each Sun/Rising sign.
Okay, let’s get into….the astrology
(all times are in Eastern time unless mentioned otherwise)
Saturn stations direct at 9:20 am ET at 12°Pisces 41’, literally just moments ago as I am writing this. It will take Saturn approximately three days to move forward to 12° Pisces 42’. He has been stopped at the station degree since November 11, 2024, so in the end, we will have been at this degree and minute of arc, for a full week. This can make things seem as if they are sort of hanging in the balance, like we have inhaled, but are waiting to exhale, or like we are waiting-for-the-other-shoe-to-drop type of feeling; awaiting a form of relief from the initial shock, and I’d have to say it certainly feels this way. There’s a sort of slow-motion effect that we may be experiencing as things are starting to take shape, come into form, and get back up to normal speed, but this period of pause, once it is over, will have left its mark.
There’s no going back to the old ways. Saturn will move us forward on the clock, advancing us along the path, pushing and dragging those who are resistant, like a strong current—we are no match for the mighty Saturn, we either sink or swim, fight against the current, and lose, or learn to surrender to the flow, relax into the cosmic natural order and learn the lesson, however painful it may be.
As with all the planets and all of astrology, we are dealing with cycles, cycles that go so far back, we do not even know when they began or if they even have such a thing as a “beginning” or were they always “just there.”
So, this is a potent part of the cycle, when the meter is turned back on, the cosmic time-enforcer starts to keep count again and the question is, what did you learn during the pause? What did you learn about yourself? What did you learn about the area of life where Saturn is applying pressure, asking you how much you really want what you thought you wanted?
Saturn does not give away anything for free, there is always an exchange, a price, or a sacrifice to be paid, whether that is your time, effort, money, or life essence, Saturn makes sure there is an even exchange before granting anything that could be labeled as “good fortune.” Nothing comes for free at his hands.
To have this station on top of a Full Moon that is conjunct the chaotic, revolutionary, and shocking planet Uranus who is still retrograde, is huge and it means that a rapid advancement may take place, one that leaves you in a bit of shock, like when the baby comes out really fast in childbirth. I had such an experience with my fourth child. I had labored all day with the help of castor oil and then at 10 pm my water broke and I went from five centimeters dilated to ten, in an hour (usually each centimeter takes an hour!) and then pushed the baby out in half an hour—this left me literally shaking in a state of shock, shivering from the mere strength, effort, and swiftness of it all. Mentally, I was fine, but my physical reaction was uncontrollable. I believe this Full Moon may feel like that. It may have an essence of elation and joy, like a baby being born, but whatever it is, could come along so fast, that it shocks the system and we enter a crisis state that needs acute and timely tending to, to ensure recovery.
Let’s take a look at the chart so you can see what I mean, plus there is a hidden element that is really interesting that I want to point out as well.
Full Moon in Taurus Conjuct Uranus/Algol
I cast this chart for Washington D.C. here in the USA.
You can see the Moon in Taurus at 24°00’ conjunct Uranus at 25°Taurus 17’ retrograde and the fixed star Algol (26° Taurus 25’) on the left-hand side of the chart between the 8 and 9 o’clock position. This conjunction is also rising in the sky in Washington D.C. right after exactitude, which is interesting and may have special significance.
Opposite the Moon/Uranus/Algol is the Sun in Scorpio about to set below the horizon on the right-hand side of the chart between 2 and 3 o’clock. The Sun sets in Washington D.C. today at 4:54 pm ET, just 26 minutes after the Full Moon is exact. The Sun in mundane astrology represents kings, presidents, and the ruler of a country and I find this to be a very potent signature and wonder, “Could this be heralding the death of a president?” Is it the current president? A former president? The president-elect? I do not know, but it is an unmistakable signature of someone in power having their “sunset”. We will, of course, be watching this.
Saturn is between 10 and 11 o’clock on the chart stopped and in the eleventh house. According to William Lilly in Christian Astrology Book I, the eleventh house represents, “friends and friendship, hope, trust, confidence, the praise or dispraise of any one, the fidelity or falseness of friends, as to kings it personates their favourites, councillors, servants, their associates or allies, their money, exchequer or treasure, in war their ammunition and soldiery, it represents courtiers, and in common-wealth governed by a few of the nobles and commons, it personates their resistance in council; as in London the tenth house represents the lord Major; the eleventh the common-council; the Ascendant the generality of the commoners of the said city.” (p. 56). Will people be changing their positions behind their friends or behind the leaders in some way? Or will something that has been determined now be able to be solidified with Saturn moving direct? In any event, something is being finalized with Saturn’s station: a count, a foundational element, or a spiritual truth, and now we have to accept and surrender to the verdict, the final say, or the rule of law.
Venus is at 04°Capricorn 54’ located on the right-hand side of the chart at about the 1 o’clock position, and is in an applying square to the North and South Nodes from the Southern bending, so this means that something in our personal lives having to do with our relationships, values, and finances is taking place today and over the weekend—an event that we may feel on an internal level. Venus is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn and thus his station has a direct effect on what she can now do. Perhaps before when Saturn was retrograde Venus was unable to deliver her good fortune, but now with his direct motion and being in Pisces where Venus is exalted and Venus being in Capricorn which Saturn rules, this mutually beneficial reception, will grant a Venusian benefit or a Saturnian benefit. Something will feel better after this Full Moon and it could be something that carries with it some responsibility or commitment.
Full Moons are naturally about a peak point or culmination and thus represent a ceremony, celebration, or a natural ending to something. Something in your life has run its natural course and is now something to celebrate and also let go of.
Whatever intentions you set during the New Moon two weeks ago in Scorpio, are now at their fullest potential.
Let’s talk about the Moon conjunct Uranus retrograde and the fixed star Algol, the Demon Star. The Moon in Taurus is about abundance and passion, our sensual desires, and what we possess within ourselves or in our material world. The Moon is exalted in Taurus and represents fertility and life and the constant drive within to procreate and make something of oneself in a material way, either through parenthood, career, money, or virtues. Taurus is concerned with the good life and creating the best of the best, through passionate stability and robust strength behind their actions and intentions. Taurus is a solid earth sign that is driven by the desire to have and to hold, and to feel pleasure through the senses.
On the other side of this is the Sun in Scorpio which is about seduction, deep primal desires, watery depths of emotion, and the darker side of creation which is destruction. To create something we must also destroy something. There is a balance to life, Taurus creates, and Scorpio Destroys. Taurus feels pleasure and smiles, Scorpio feels pain and broods. To every high there is also a low and every ray of light is made brighter by the shadow it casts. This Full Moon is bringing this very primal duality into our awareness.
Wherever the Sun is in the zodiac is being illuminated and here in Scorpio he is illuminating the underbelly of our values, our desires, wants, and needs and they are being reflected in the Moon, and because the Moon is with Uranus and Algol, there could be a shocking element to it that makes us kind of lose our heads, metaphorically, of course!
Uranus is the planet of chaos, volatility, disruption, revolution, and surprises and since he is still retrograde this surprising event could be something that has happened before or that represents a rapid change in direction. Algol, the Demon star1, has been associated with beheadings and “female intense passion.” (Brady, 1998)2.
So, something very primal, and very intense is coming to a head with this Full Moon and it could shake us to our core and we could feel in shock and there could be an element of feeling better after the initial reaction passes.
The Hidden Aspect
Now, something I want to point out that I feel is significant is that the Moon and the Sun are applying to an antiscia and a contra-antiscia, respectively, to Mars in Leo. The Moon will perfect an antiscia to Mars four hours after the Full Moon at 8:28 pm ET and the Sun will perfect his contra-antiscia to Mars two days later on November 17, 2024.
The antiscia acts as a hidden conjunction and the contra-antiscia a hidden opposition. Mars is also the ruler of the Sun in Scorpio (traditionally) during this Full Moon and also the ruler of the North Node in Aries, to which Mars is also applying by trine.
First, with the Moon and Mars in a hidden conjunction, this represents something secret that we are not aware of taking place that involves an action taken or motivation that is behind the scenes that is either passionate, furious, or aggressive in nature. Mars also represents cutting, probing, penetration, and weaponry. So, be very careful when handling sharp objects this weekend!
Second, with the Sun and Mars in a hidden opposition, this is a life-or-death situation or a major crisis moment that forces us to make a decision between fighting against something or surrendering to something, like a primal urge or a primal instinct—do we give into it or resist it? Do we fight for our legacy and our pride or let go and feel the pain and explore its depths in a sort of raw acceptance?
If we take the number of hours until the Moon perfects this antiscion to Mars as a timing signature and extrapolate that onto the next few months (each hour representing two weeks, a technique I have learned for prediction), we get two months’ time—so this Full Moon could be heralding an event in the future that has these signatures in two month’s time. Interesting that Saturn will not move forward for two more days—another time unit of “two.”
Will something happen in two months that is sharp, penetrating, aggressive, explosive, anger-inducing, revolutionary, chaos-producing, and final? We will see.
But let’s back up to how this Full Moon may interact with our own natal charts and take a look at which house is being activated for each sign.
Remember, this day could be a day for celebration and/or endings and it could have a revolutionary feel to it or some hidden anger or hidden rebelliousness to it, like we are breaking free from something or breaking away from something in order to enter a new realm of existence.
As always, here are some questions to ponder during this Full Moon:
What are you celebrating today? What are you ending? What has reached its fullest potential? What do you notice surprising you? What is being flipped on its head?
Briefly, below you will find the house that this Full Moon is occurring in according to your rising sign. Find your rising and read the house topics associated with this Full Moon. You may notice a sudden celebration or abrupt ending involving one or more of those topics.
Aries — second house of money and possessions.
Taurus — first house of self, health, and character.
Gemini — twelfth house of blind spots, large animals, hidden enemies, and mental health.
Cancer — eleventh house of friends, allies, groups, and wishes.
Leo — tenth house of career, praxis, and the mother.
Virgo — ninth house of foreign travel, higher education, and beliefs.
Libra — eighth house of shared resources, inheritance, debt, and death.
Scorpio — seventh house of marriage, partnerships, and legal matters.
Sagittarius — sixth house of stress, health issues, employees or co-workers, and pets.
Capricorn — fifth house of pregnancy, children, creativity, and recreational activities.
Aquarius — fourth house of family, roots, and property.
Pisces — third house of siblings, communication, and local travel.
I wish you all a Happy Full Moon!

The Tarot Card
Let’s see what the cards have to say…
What is the guidance for today’s Full Moon?
IV of Swords
In the Tarot Journal that I am in the final stretch of creating, I describe the Four of Swords like this:
“The Four of Swords is about inaction, taking a rest, or being in solitude. There may have been harsh words and painful experiences in the past, and therefore one may feel regret. The card before this is the three of swords which represents heartache and pain and the card after the four of swords is the five of swords which represents conflict, fighting, and instability, so the four of Swords is this in-between space where one may find themselves acting like a hermit and seeking alone time to process the situation, experiences, and feelings.
In times of battle, I would imagine if you lost a fellow warrior, having a moment to mourn your dead would be ideal before getting back out there to resume fighting. I feel like this card is like that—a moment of silence, a pause in the fight, an intermission in the movie of life where we get to mourn, retreat, and do nothing and that is the point. It’s a time of rest, recuperation, inaction, and solitude.”
So, now is the time to prepare ourselves for the next thing we have to fight. This is a time of rest; perhaps for the next two days, until Saturn moves ahead to the next minute of arc, there will be this period of inactivity before we react.
I also pulled a Soul Card and this is the image:
To me, this looks like an angel riding a horse and represents that we have supportive forces that we cannot see working on our behalf.
To Recap:
So, the guidance is to take this time to rest and prepare ourselves for whatever the future holds and know that we are supported by something divine and full of light.
What do you see?
I would love to hear from you in the comments.
I hope this is helpful!
Until Monday,
AstroMommy
P.S. Thanks to those of you who have read the post all the way through. Just wanted to give a little update on the newsletter/channel. I am reflecting on my purpose, my offerings, and what I can commit to and I think I need to take a break from writing the daily horoscope for the remainder of the year. I will, however, not leave you all high and dry, so I am preparing a few more posts outlining the astrological events for the rest of November and December while I figure out how I want to deliver the astrology in the New Year.
I am almost done with my Tarot journal and hope to launch that before the end of the month and then host a “Journal along with me” YouTube series showing how to use the journal. I will let you all know when the Journal is published and ready for purchase on Amazon.
Thank you to everyone—all my subscribers—I love you and appreciate you and it means the world to me that you tune in and read/listen/watch what I am sharing and I realize that we will all need each other going forward even more than we have already needed each other and it is my hope to create a safe place to connect and share and so I am in the process of developing that and what that will actually look like. So, thank you for your continued support as I figure all this out.
Humbly yours in service,
Monica
