Without further ado, here is Part Three of this week’s Weekly Horoscope.
Good evening/morning, friends!
Yesterday I posted Part One and Two of this week’s Weekly Forecast, a Deep-Dive into Mercury’s retrograde, an overview for April, and corresponding Horoscopes for All 12 signs. Today is time for Part Three, the Tarot card reading for the week.
Because it is April Fool’s week, I chose to use Morgan’s Tarot, which is a wacky deck for a wacky week! LOL!
So, let’s get into it…
The Tarot Spread
Let’s do a 3-card spread for the week that will represent the opportunities, the challenges that “cross” us, and the outcome.
The first card representing the opportunities is:
You Are Our God
On this card is a heart-shaped hole, or little dots coalescing around a heart shape, it’s hard to tell, exactly.
Along the bottom of the card, it says, “You Are Our God.”
The little “Instructions” booklet reads:
“There is none other. This is the other side of the “There is No You” card. The kingdom of heaven is within, and you can find yourself ever anew in the universe. However, as a god you are part of humanity. Thus, the Buddhists encourage infinite compassion for all living beings.” (Robbins, 1983)1
As the card for the opportunities this week, I feel this means that everything is available to you if you will it to be. You create your own story. Hearts are a symbol of love, acceptance, affection, gifts, and romance, so…there are heartfelt opportunities available to you as long as you follow your heart or what you create comes from the heart. Being compassionate also comes to mind.
The second card representing the challenges that “cross” us is:
Du Wacky Du
On this card, we see a silly bird, upside down and looking at us through its legs. The Moon is high in the sky behind it—or is it a round window?
The little “Instructions” booklet reads:
“Originally this was a tall, thin bird that rapidly peeked (not pecked) through many windows. Later it was a tall, thin bird staring around itself at the dull, stupid life of the Modern Age. Finally, it assumed its present form.” (Robbins, 1983)
The last time I pulled this card it represented the ‘past’ in the reading and I saw a crescent moon in the background and it made complete sense, but this time I see a small round window and I think that for this reading and in the position of the challenges that “cross” us, it is the symbol we need to see.
This bird may be stuck inside of something and only have a small window to peek through; therefore the challenge may be about feeling trapped in a situation that is out of your control. So, what does this bird do? They look upside down and between their legs to get a different view! The challenge then is, can we do the same? Can we look at our situation from a different viewpoint, maybe even physically turning ourselves upside down to check things out? If we did that, what would we see differently? Would we see a solution to our challenge that we didn’t see before?
If it is a moon on this card, it is a waning crescent moon and I find that very interesting because we are in the waning phase of the lunation cycle and heading toward a Solar Eclipse right now!
And the third card representing the outcome is:
Try To Relax
The picture on this card is hard to describe because it’s hard to accurately see what it is. At first, I thought that it was a picture of a dessert scene with tall cylindrical rock formations topped with large boulders that were balancing on the tips and a valley below, but then, upon looking at the card longer, I thought it was the ocean out in the distance and perhaps the valley below is not a valley but a river that leads out into the sea and perhaps the large boulders are not boulders but clouds drifting by in the sky because there appears to be a cloud hovering beneath the arch of a rainbow.
I got lost in this card trying to figure out what it was a picture of, and then I read the interpretation in the little “Instructions” booklet:
“Trying and relaxing oppose each other, so the real meaning of the card is, “Relax, don’t try.”
If I relax into the card, the rock formations turn into people, the boulders their heads, and they are standing on the side of the ocean watching little boats in the water. I can hear the lapping of the waves, the soft murmur of voices, and the shrill of seagulls off in the distance, even though I do not see any birds on the card. There is a feeling of peace and of being in the moment, when I let my mind wander around this card, and I think that is the message.
Be in the moment.
To Recap:
There are a lot of opportunities that may come your way this week and it is up to you which to act upon and which to deny; follow your heart.
The challenge will be in how you look at what is going on in your life right now. Maybe you only have a small window to maneuver through, too? This card symbolizes the need to surrender and look at things differently.
The outcome, if you allow it, may be the act of surrendering to the moment; being at peace with what is. Relax, don’t try.
A couple of weeks ago I went to a ballroom dance class and we practiced waltz. It was the first time since learning to waltz again, that I didn’t have to think about the steps and I could get lost in the music and the conversation with my dance partner, and dance without messing up. It was so peaceful and healing, in a way, to just relax completely into the movement and the moment; it felt similar to swinging on a swing or taking a bike ride when I was a kid, peaceful, fun, and soulful.
This reading has really made me think of Venus’s conjunction to Neptune because it has felt very Neptunian and far-out to interpret these cards. So, I just checked the transits, and Venus and Neptune are conjoining right now! They we perfect their conjunction to the minute tomorrow morning at about 9:10 am ET. You can’t make this stuff up!
What do you think this reading means? Does it resonate with you? I would love to hear your thoughts.
I hope this is helpful! Sweet dreams.
Until tomorrow,
AstroMommy
