There's a Bear Stuck In Your Fence, What Do You Do? Moon in Capricorn, Trine Mars, Square Jupiter...

The Moon is now in practical and resourceful Capricorn and will be Full tomorrow. Today is a day to consolidate, repair, and re-structure anything that contributes to the business of running and managing your life. Making those important decisions about where to put your resources will come up today. We’re talking about tangible things like money and gas, but also intangible assets, like your emotional energy.
The Moon will make several aspects today, but most notably a trine with Mars in Taurus, followed by a square with Jupiter in Aries. There will be a situation that comes up that you really don’t like and would prefer not to have to deal with, but there’s no escaping it, you are involved.
At first, you are reluctant to play your part and then you embrace it and play it beautifully.
Let’s imagine this scenario for a moment:
You live deep in the mountains in a cabin. Your house is powered by solar electricity and your water flows into your pipes from a nearby river. Today, on your to-do list you need to check on the solar system and the water system. You may need to repair or re-structure a few things because the water coming out of your faucet seems obstructed and isn’t coming out at full pressure and your solar panels don’t seem to be charging up your battery bank to full capacity.
But you wake up to a noise in the front yard, a bear has gotten itself stuck somehow in your fence. You don’t want to hurt the bear, but you are faced with a dilemma: do you free the bear and hope that they just go back to their den and leave you alone, or do you shoot the bear and eliminate any possible danger from the bear to you or your neighbors? This is really something you did not think you’d be dealing with today and so you’re grumpy that you have to! And I’m sure the bear is thinking the same thing! Why did I choose to go this way? I got myself stuck! Dang, it! And the bear is scared for his life and you are scared for your life, but a decision has to be made. You have to be heroic either way—by freeing the bear or shooting the bear, either one takes courage and a righteous conviction to carry out.
You decide to free the bear and see what happens. The bear, upon being freed, runs away, leaving you alone. Phew!
Now, it’s back to your to-do list…
You hike up to the river and check for a blockage and sure enough, you find that a tree has fallen across the river and that is what has been obstructing the water flow into your cabin. Just as you are realizing this, suddenly the tree dislodges itself and gets carried away downstream! When you get back to your cabin, the water is flowing freely again!
Now, to check the solar panels…You climb on the roof and realize a branch with many leaves has fallen and covered one of your panels, but right as you are about to remove it, a brisk wind kicks up and blows the branch away, clearing the solar panels’ surface! When you climb down and go around back to check your solar battery bank, it is charging and collecting full power again and everything seems to be running smoothly!
There’s still a bit of worry in your mind about the bear, though. Will it come back? Will it get into your food stores? You make plans to secure your food and your property so that you have some protection and peace of mind against bears. You knew that when you moved to the mountains, coming in contact with potentially dangerous wildlife was inevitable, and it was just a matter of time before something came around.
Today is about securing your resources. We may all have things that come up this morning that we really don’t want to deal with, like a bear getting stuck in our fence, but they can’t be left to their own, we have to do something and take some sort of action. Even if it’s not a bear and we’re just dealing with checking on the structures in our life that take care of our basic needs, like shelter, water, food, etc…today is a day to get things done and have faith that our convictions are justified.
Whatever decision you have to make today, think it through logically and make sure that you can live with whatever outcome your choice will bring. If you free the bear, the bear may hurt you, but at least you didn’t hurt the bear. If you kill the bear, the bear is no longer a threat, but now you have its death on your conscience… Whatever you decide will be up to you and your own moral compass. Maybe killing the bear is a better choice because you could use the meat and the fur? There are pros and cons either way and it won’t be an easy decision to make.

We are all feeling like we are waiting for the inevitable to happen, like waiting for labor to start or the watermelons to be ready to harvest. We know what is coming, it’s just a matter of time.
The last three out of my five births were all two weeks late. It was so hard to wait those last two weeks for labor to start. The first time, my midwife, because of her legal constraints, sent me to the hospital to be induced. The second time, I took it upon myself to start the induction by drinking castor oil (which was a great success!) so that my midwife didn’t have to legally send me to the hospital for induction again. The last time, I had the castor oil ready and the induction was scheduled for the very last day, but my birth started naturally, just in the nick of time!
In all three scenarios, the outcome was the same, the birth of my beautiful babies!
We know what’s coming, we just have to wait for it to happen in the way that it’s supposed to. Sometimes, we have no choice; sometimes we can take action, and other times all we have to do for things to start, is be prepared and plan for any outcome.
