Without further ado, here is the daily horoscope.

Good morning, friends!

Well, today is an exciting day because Venus in Cancer will perfect her square to the Nodes at noon and Mercury will make a trine to Saturn this afternoon. This feels so auspicious to me and I’m really curious how it will manifest in everyone’s lives and whether or not it will be noticeably felt. Today’s card is really interesting and brings up a lot of things to reflect upon. I would love to hear what comes up for you when you look at the card so please feel free to leave a comment.

Moon Enters Pisces

In the morning at 2:07 am the Moon left the detached, intelligent, and social sign of Aquarius and entered the adaptable, compassionate, and psychic sign of Pisces.  Whenever the Moon is in Pisces it’s a nice time to relax with art, music, poetry, books, or by doing anything in water that can revive and renew your spirits.

Moon Sesquiquadrate Mercury

At 8:52 am ET, the Pisces Moon formed a Sesquiquadrate to Mercury in Cancer. This aspect came after the Moon’s opposition to Mercury which happened last weekend, and before the Moon’s upcoming trine to Mercury, which will come tomorrow, so it will have to do with a decision we made last weekend now experiencing some setbacks, delays, or friction. Perhaps we have to wait for a message or a contact with someone before we can continue on our way. Or, maybe you decided to start doing something last weekend and now you are facing the reality of the daily grind of actually getting it done and it is causing you to pause and reflect a bit. Tomorrow things should be flowing along smoothly again.

Moon Trine Sun

By mid-morning at 11:25 am ET, the Pisces Moon forms a trine to the Sun in Cancer and this is an easy, flowing aspect that means we are in harmony with the big picture right now, which may be about taking care of our homes and making changes to our spaces that make us feel more safe and secure during this Cancer season.  So this is a good day to connect with your family, friends, and loved ones as the harmony between the lights is most favorable!

Venus Square the Nodes

In the afternoon at  12:07 pm ET Venus in Cancer will perfect her square to the Nodes. You can see Venus on the upper left-hand side of the chart between the 10 and 11 o’clock position. The Nodes look like the two opposing horseshoe symbols. Venus in Cancer is said to be at the Northern Bending to the Nodes, which means she is located at the opening square when traveling from the North Node, counterclockwise around the wheel.

According to astrologer Mary Plumb, in an article she wrote in The Mountain Astrologer, when a planet is at the Northern Bending “energy comes in; events and experiences will manifest in the outer world(2010).”¹ Since the planet is Venus, we can take this to mean that an event will happen in an outward way that is about your realtionships, love, finances, or anything and everything that brings beauty, harmony, peace, fertility, nourishment, and soulfulness; all things Venusian.  It’s a great day to work on your art, eat good food, spend time with those you love, get married, go to the theatre, enjoy artistic experiences, or whatnot. In a recent video on YouTube, one of my teachers, astrologer Mychal A. Bryan of The Oraculos School of Astrology declared that when Venus squares the Nodes it’s a wonderful day to “Dive deeply into the heart of your art, cultivate softness and beauty in your life, pursue your heart’s desires, and be inflamed by the things that turn you on…cultivate that sweetness and softness and fill all the cracks of life with the sweet waters².”

So today could be a great time to do something fun, enjoyable, and with those you love!  You may also feel a lot of affection and support from others today, as Venus is harnessing the energy of the North Node which amplifies, makes bigger, and brings people together.

Mercury Trine Saturn

Additionally, at 2:09 pm ET Mercury in Cancer will form a trine to Saturn in Pisces which is really, really great!  This means it will be easy to talk to others about our feelings and dreams as our minds will be able to focus, concentrate, and reflect upon things very easily.  It’s as if our feelings will be flowing easily into a cup, filling it to the brim. I think this is also a wonderful transit coupled with Venus squaring the nodes for marriage or any sort of contract between two people that you would like to be harmonious.   So, it’s a good day for signing paperwork, working well with others on serious matters, and stuff like that.

Moon Square Jupiter

Later at 2:26 pm ET, the Moon in Pisces will make a square to Jupiter in Gemini. The square is a hard aspect and indicates a bit of struggle, or energy needed to make something happen—the good news is that the Moon is in a Jupiter-ruled sign, creating more harmony between the two planets and thus this square may act more like an auspicious opportunity that requires some effort on your part to make happen.  I think this is another positive aspect coupled with Venus squaring the Nodes and Mercury trine Saturn that makes today a possibly wonderful day!  The main caution with the Moon squaring Jupiter is that we don’t do things in excess that we may regret later, so be mindful of how much you consume, especially alcohol with the Moon in a water sign, and all should be well.

Moon Trine Venus

In the evening the Moon will trine Venus at 10:33 pm ET.  Seriously, this couldn’t be a better day for love, relationships, and prosperity!  The Moon in Pisces trine Venus in Cancer may symbolize our cups flowing over with love, compassion, good feelings, harmony, pleasure, and just a gush of loving feelings. 

This day is fruitful, full of fertility, fecundity (a new word I learned from Mychal A. Bryan, LOL!), and richness—I love the possibilities of this day!
