Good morning, friends!
Well, I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a fun one. Our good friend stopped by on Easter and we had a nice visit.
Okay, let’s get into… the astrology
The astrology for Monday is pretty much gearing up for the transits that are perfecting on Tuesday, so we’re going to talk about those for today’s newsletter.
The big transits that are perfecting on Tuesday are Venus moving into the sign of Gemini and immediately forming a trine to Pluto in Aquarius, and the Sun and Jupiter conjoining in Aries. We will also feel a shift as the Moon finishes her journey through fiery, expansive Sagittarius today and makes her ingress into earthy, determined Capricorn Tuesday afternoon.
Technically, Venus will ingress into the sign of Gemini at 12:46 am ET on Tuesday morning, but that will be 9:46 pm Pacific time late Monday night, so we are definitely going to be feeling this change about to occur for all of Monday.
Venus is the planet that is associated with love, relationships, women (sisters, daughters, aunts, female friends, and lovers), food, our senses, our sensuality and sexuality, and money. In Gemini, Venus can feel a bit less attached to physical pleasures and more concerned with mental, social, and relational experiences. So, Venus goes from her domicile in Taurus where she may enjoy being fed grapes and having a massage to Gemini where the idea of reading, playing board games, and talking a lot are her sought-after pleasures. So, we’re moving from a more sensual, body-oriented Venus to a more mental, contemplative Venus.
A few hours after her ingress, Venus in Gemini forms a trine to Pluto in Aquarius at 6:14 am ET, which is a harmonious aspect that represents things moving along easily and without great effort. Pluto is the planet of transformation and irrevocable change and so when Pluto and Venus get together in a trine aspect it can often mean a deepening or a transformation in a relationship that is positive, falling in love; it could signify having profound social experiences, feeling really artistic and expressive. It could also represent having a meaningful and profound experience with a woman in your life that is important to you.
The Moon will change signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn at 1:32 pm ET on Tuesday. The Moon is in its detriment in Capricorn so there’s a sense that it’s time to get your life in order, whether that’s cleaning, organizing, filing, balancing, or simply working; there’s always this feeling of wanting to get a lot accomplished with the Capricorn moon energy.
By 6:06 pm ET, the Sun will conjoin Jupiter at 21°Aries 45’. At this same time, the Moon in Capricorn is forming a harmonious sextile to Saturn in Pisces and a sesquiquadrate to Uranus in Taurus; and Mercury in Taurus is making a semisquare to Neptune in Pisces. So, there’s the feeling that something serious is happening that is somewhat unexpected but feels almost like messages are coming through from the dreamworld or the divine, but they are not crystal clear yet.
The Sun represents our spirit, the plotline of our lives, our ambitions, and our vitality. Jupiter represents wealth, abundance, fertility, and good fortune. So, the two coming together could indicate an increase in prestige, advancement in one’s career, achieving something great, receiving help, aid, or support from someone, honor, and success. It could also indicate a marriage or the birth of a child. Whatever the case may be, it’s a huge opportunity for blessings and abundance in whatever area of your chart this conjunction is highlighting.
It is also a rebirth of the Sun and Jupiter’s synodic cycle and so over the next few weeks as the Sun passes and Jupiter gains some distance from the Sun, we will see Jupiter emerge as a morning star in May, right before his ingress into the sign of Taurus on May 16, 2023.

What is the guidance for today?
Petro La Place (Prince of Wands)
On this card we see a man carving a fiery cross in the earth with his machete. He is confident in his skills and not afraid of the flames. One hand reaches towards the sky as the other one touches the earth with the tip of the blade, bringing the two energies together, “As above, so below.”
This card indicates that someone may be coming into your life who is a fire sign: Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, who embodies the attributes of confidence, strength, and aptitude. The Princes (Knights in Traditional Tarot) typically bring blessings and benefit so, I feel that this is a positive omen that a fiery male may be coming for a visit or to offer you their inspirational support. This visit could be swift and short.
On the other hand, if this card is indicating a more metaphorical situation about your own psychology, then this is a time when inspiration, drive, and ambition may be strong. You may feel self-assured, fair, and just, and exert yourself in matters that are important to you. You may have the confidence to draw lines in the sand about something—this could be in regard to a conflict or this could be a leadership role where you are drawing out the plans so you can delegate them to others. Either way, inspired creativity is flowing through you.
