I know that life can get in the way, even when we want to write poetry! That’s why I have decided to put all the word lists here on this one page, all nice and cozy together. Now you can refer to one page, instead of a bunch of pages. I will update this post as new word lists are added.
A new word list is generated each New Moon and due the following Full Moon. A fun lunar practice, wouldn’t ya say?
Also, in case you’re curious, I create each word list using this little technique: I look in a book or magazine to get the first word, and once I have that, the rest is pretty easy. Each following word has to start with the letter that the previous word ended with. So, as you can see in Word List #1 the first word was, “Moon,” and the next word started with “n” (because “Moon” ended with “n”), and so on and so forth! I usually continue to find words out of the source text that I found the first word in, and that way, I don’t have to come up with the words, I just have to locate them in the source text. It’s a fun little word-list-generating-hunting game that I play! I stop when I reach 15 words.
