Okay, here goes….
A ‘Hag Stone’ Poem Of Uses
By AstroMommy
I have, sometimes in my pocket, sometimes on my dresser, sometimes next to my bed,
a pebble that has a magical, mystical, mythical hole: a ‘Hag Stone’ it is said.
And while I do believe that it can extinguish
evil thoughts, deeds, and spirits who try to pass through,
I wanted to share a list of practical uses that may be good for you.
1. Because it is most often the color of ash it is easy to camouflage, hang it above your door so witches cannot pass when they fly by your garage.
2. If you have a hairy hair brush and are prone to losing it, tie a hag stone to the handle to thwart this from your habit.
3. A hag stone is super stylish and can be worn around your neck, just match it with your gown and you won’t look like a wreck.
4. Forever ago it used to be common for witches to cling to ships. But, then it was found, through many a round, between the ocean dips, that a hag stone tied with twine or rope, would knock the witches right off your boat.
5. If you work in a lighthouse above the rocks then you definitely need a hag stone. It’s useful for protection, to get an erection, and even as a fairy phone. Not sure exactly how it helps Mr. Squishy rise, but I was told by somebody old and this is no surprise.
6. You can nail it to the top of your bedroom door if stretchmarks are a problem. This works by activating the heat inside your bedroom candelabrum. The heat keeps the evil stretchmark spirits away, see…and this is as ridiculous as a candy fleur-de-lis.
7. If you like playing football then you’ll want to keep a hag stone in your pocket. It’ll give you good luck, you won’t slip in the muck, as you’re launching the ball like a rocket.
I hope this list will be of assist for how to use your hag stone.
Legend says they will find you when it is your time to be shone
I hope, sometime at night, sometime in the morning, sometime in the afternoon,
that a magical, mystical, mythical holey pebble, finds its way to you soon!
Author’s note: This poem was inspired by my own hag stone research online and from this blog post on The Simple Things blog. Thank you for the inspiration! This poem is meant to be satire and in no way denies the many useful ways to use a hag stone.

"It’s useful for protection, to get an erection, and even as a fairy phone." I love this line ❤️
Mid-stride I stop and remove my shoe and shake the painful pebble from inside of it out onto the ground. I slide my foot inside and immediately extinguish my cigarette butt on the sidewalk. The ash smears across the damp pavement like powdered sugar spreading across a hairy lip. I brush my knees out of habit and resume walking past the stylish shoe store and the gown boutique as briskly as I ever avoided a forever 21 at the shopping mall. I stay focused on the path unfolding before me, down to the ocean, out past the lighthouse soon it is only rocks surrounding me and I feel my body relax. I lay down in the warm sun and mindlessly roll my squishy stretch marks into a fleur-de-lis I feel my stress and worry become a football and I imagine launching it across space.
